Hi there
This may be a silly question but i was wondering when you make a felt board do you use standard felt for the board as well as the shapes etc to go on it, or do you use a different fabric for the back board?
I wasnt sure - i think its just felt on felt isnt it??
I am going to make one for DS this week and cut out lots of animals, shapes etc and see how much fun we can have with it!

I made my felt board out of normal felt. I have one side green and one side blue. I put velcro dots on the back of my felt pieces to hold them on, but then again I stand mine up and let 10 toddles have a turn!!!!!!

You can get great felt board stories off ebay too.

I just used felt on felt from spotlight! I cut them out into shapes and animals the kids have so much fun with them. I stuck magnet strips on the back and put the felt board on the fridge or their white board if they have it out!

I bought ones of those easel ones, and the felt shapes always fall off (and subsequently get lost ). The velcro on the back sounds like a great idea!

Making one to go on the fridge sounds good too, saves having a giant easel set up!
