Hey to all fellow October mummies - my son was born on the 22nd October 06. I have been looking through the other threads and I wasnt sure exactly where to post cause everyone else seemed to really know each other...little daunting :) so i thought I would just post all my stuff here and any other new mums to the hub could post....its great to see what other babies of similar age are doing....makes ya feel better that your own child is on the right track.... He was 4.35kgs born (and yes I had him naturally with an epidural ofcourse) and 57 cms so needless to say he had a very good start in life in terms of his size, he is nearly 4 months now and weighs 7.1kgs and is nearly 65cm long - everyone who sees him says he looks much older than his age.....he absolutely loves to roll over from his back to tummy but i cant get him to roll back over as he enjoys it on his tummy too much - only problem is he gets frustrated on his tummy so I roll him over and ofcourse he rolls straight back over again :) He doesnt sleep much during the day but he has been sleeping through the night since about 4 weeks....which is fantastic for me- used to wake at about 4.30am but now he usually wakes between 7-8am.....if he wakes any earlier all he wants is his dummy and he goes straight back to sleep. I know some people are completely against dummies but my son only uses and takes it when he really needs it - other than that he is fine and I figure if it makes him happy then I am happy :)
