Sure. I do love cooking, but I make most things up so I don't really know quantities.
Make a batch of crepes
I mixed plain flour, a couple of eggs, pinch salt and milk until it looks runny enough. (Sorry so vague) Cook in a non stick pan.
The inside bit:
I chopped up some turkey that I had leftover and frozen after christmas dinner (but you could use a chook or even ham), mix with a couple of handfulls of roughly chopped baby spinach leaves.
Cook up some sliced mushrooms in butter and oil (butter for colour and the oil stops it burning) and add some cream & grated cheese. Mix all together.
I didn't have enough cream, so I made a cheese sauce and put half in the mix and half on the top of the crepes.
Pop a spoonful in the crepe and roll it up.
You could put anything inside them though. A jar of chicken tonight would make it easier too, but didn't have any of that either.
Just one thing - I don't think I'll ever do this one again on a 38 degree day with no air conditioning.

19-02-2007, 02:35 PM
Our pancakes are made of buttermilk, vanilla and cinnamon. We cooked them, then cut out the shapes using a butterfly cookie cutter. In the middle of the plate, we have homemade icecream, covered in melted dairy milk chocolate.
We also have various little lollies placed around the plate to make it pretty!
Enjoy! :chef:
Yum Megan and Mel!
I dont want to enter now :o

A crepe maker? No, wow whats that? (Well I guess it makes crepes :o )
Cheese sauce - I make a white sauce & add cheese. (Make a roux - equal quantities of flour/butter. Cook for a minute or so, add warmed milk, stir until thick, add cheese. )
Oh these all look so good. Why don't I have a scratch n sniff computer?
Competition closes in about half an hour.
