Moan and groan and general whinge

I have just been to take DD to see my MIL:mad: like a good person and she has basically said that I am abandoing my daughter and that I am being selfish because DD is going into family daycare 4 half days a week while I am at uni. I feel bad enough as it is and now I just want to cry:crying: . ARRGGGHHHH Why can't she see that I am trying to provide the best future for our familyand that I hate the fact that I have to leave my baby (16 months old) in the care of someone else and try and make me feel better?????

Anyway going to go and jump headfirst into a block of chocolate.:(

you are only doing what you think is best for you and your family, tell her to keep her opinions to herself.

My mum scoffed at my when i decided to put my DS in daycare for one day a week and said the same things. He's only went like 3 times cause he hated it so much they kept ringing me to pick him up. But anyways...

You have your reasons for doing it and if you are doing it for work or study commitments i think that's great if you have the option of finding a suitable carer while you can get your work done.
