this is my first time on ivf. I had my eggs collected in June but i was hyper stimulated so unfortunately no transfer could be done althought wwe di get 10 frozen. We have attempted one frozen transfer but the cycle was cancelled. At the moment i am on progynova and having ultrasound on sat so hoping for a transfer next week. W

I have been wanting some where that i can talk to people that truly understand how i ma feeling. It is very hard for people that have not experienced this to understand, especially the little things.

Hi Pink, it must have been really disappointing to go through the whole stimulated cycle in June and to have to wait so long for a transfer. how were your scans and is it looking like you'll get a transfer this week?
i'm about to have my second stimulated IVF (EPU in Jan), also had one frozen which didn't work and had 6 IUI's as well... so i guess i can understand some of what you're going through.
let it all out in this forum pink, it might makes things a bit easier.

We had our FET today. I am very excited but i am also scared of being excited as if it doesn't work i know i will come crashing down.

Have Faith Pink. And keep holding onto that hopeful feeling. You will go through the rollercoaster ride of emotions but just hang on and know youll get to the other end eventually.

thankyou everyone i think i will be needing your support. I am feeling really yuk(that is the only way to describe it) i feel like i am getting the flu and feel very bloated. Is this normal

I felt craptacular when I was waiting for the results too. I don't know if it was the hormone injections or the stress of the waiting (I am not a vey patient person).

i know why i was feeling so bad. I know have the flu and it has knocked me off my feet. At least it takes my mind off everything else.

During the IVF process I use to get flu like symtoms also, My specialist said it was quite common for IVF patients to get this, something to do with the mucuous membranes become alot thicker due to all the hormones being boosted, i used to get blocked nose and stuffy head feeling.
could be a good sign!

i wish this flu was a good sign but it cerrtainly doesn't feel like it. Unfortunately i can't take anyhting except panadol to keep the fever away.

Today i am feeling fantastic. Don't know why. THe past couple of days i have had stitch like cramps and terrible bloating but today i don't seem to have any of this. a few little twitches but nothing like the last 2 days.I don't know if that is a good sign or not but what can i do. Boobs still super sensitive and heavy. Do you know if you can still get AF on pessaries and Progynova. I bought a HPT today and i will do it sunday so i can be prepared for the bad news as i will be at work when i recieve the results and they know nothing about it and this is my first time. I think i will find it hard to keep it together so i figured if i get that result on sunday when DH is there for support i may cope better on Monday. This may sound silly but preparing for the worst. I am a little teary yesterday and today. but feeling better and not that long to go .

sorry i have been to scared i would jinx myself.
My first Beta on the monday was 49.5 which was a surprise as i was convinced after doing HPT and didn't see faint line till later and thought it was just a chemical thing.
Then went for another BT and 210.3 BFP.
I have a scan Thursday just to check sac is in right place etc and cause the clinic is closing. Then i will have another when they reopen

This week has been scary i had a bad feeling on sunday theni think i convinced myself to the point where i had to ring the clinic and they said everyhting was ok just relax then today had i small spot of pink line in mucas :( (TMI) Again clinic said it is ok and they will see me on thursday.
So hopefully on thursday i can relax and enjoy christmas
