I dont know where to put this... so move if you need to mods!
My cousins fiance's sister (lol) gave birth to a little girl recently. Little Amber was 8 weeks early. She is in a humicrib and said to be doing as well as she can be.
Anyway... my cousin wants to buy some prem nappies for when they come home (in about 5 weeks) and has no clue where to buy them? Can you help us?
where abouts are u located or they located?

The mums from the prem section will probably be able to tell you where they got theirs, but I do know that some of the nappy bulk disposal stores stock them. They are usually listed in the yellow pages.
Hope little Amber makes it home soon!!:fingerscrossed:

Hi
My daughter was born at 31w5d and at the hospital they just put her in normal huggies newborn nappies and folded them down. They looked funny but did the job :yelclap:

Huggies prem nappies in my experience are the same size as babyloves newborn nappies... I really couldn't notice a difference.
Aussie nappies sell 'newborn nappies' which I paid only $10 for 100 nappies (classed as seconds as they came in a big garbage bag instead of a box) which were the same size as well. not sure if thats a standard nappy they stock though.
Moltex is the brand that makes the 'real' premmie nappies and should you need them they do need to be ordered in. Most babies come home weighing 2kg+ and fit into normal nappies... especially as they grow fast :)
DS came home weighing 1890grams but it didnt take long for him to fit into the standard newborn huggies which are quite big imo!

Hi
My son was born 5 weeks early and we got the premmy nappies from the Pharmacy in the hospital (RBH). They are called Huggies Newborn but are in a dark red packet and obviously are a smaller size than the Huggies Newborn in the green packet (I think they were from 2kg to 5kg?). They were from America and were quite expensive. Hope this helps

My DD was born at 29 weeks and someone else bought us Huggies Prem nappies off the net. But in the hospital they just used newborn ones and folded them almost in half! They did the job too.
How is her baby doing now by the way?
