I've lost my quiche recipe :gloomy: & need a replacement.

The one I want is a dead simple one that requires eggs, flour, milk, I think butter & any fillings to be all mixed together. It doesnt have a case, the flour just does that when it settles.

I've got spinach, ham, mushroom, tomato & cheese to put in it & want to do it for dinner.

Can anyone help me out? Please :o

I just wanted to bump this recipe. I made it the other night with wholemeal SR flour, capsicum, mushroom, bacon, tomato & cheese & it was soooo yummy :D:D MJ even asked for seconds!!

One thing I did different though, is I cooked the filling a bit in a fry pan, just to heat it really & it seemed to set so much better.

4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup cream
1 heaped tablespoon SR flour
Salt & pepper to taste

I use that for the base mix then add what ever I want in it.

The Quiche I made to day has fate cheese and sun dried Tomatoes in it. yummy

Cook on 180 for around half an hour

SMOKED CHICKEN QUICHE

preheat oven to 200

3 eggs - room temp
1 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup Wholemeal SR flour
1 cup grated cheese
250g smoked chicken - chopped small
100g mushrooms - chopped small
1 small can sweet corn drained
3 roma tomato's - chopped

beat eggs & milk, mix in flour

Heat chicken, mushroom, corn & tomato in a frypan, just to heat through (not necessary, but just helps cook it I think)

Combine cooked stuff with eggs, milk & flour. Add 3/4 of the cheese & mix through. Put in casserole dish (thats what I use anyway lol) & sprinkle more cheese on top.

Bake at 200 for 50mins :D

Smelt & tasted so yummy :smiliedance: Even better the next day for lunch ;)
