Creamed Rice

Quick, me & DH have a craving for some creamed rice & I can't find my recipe, I know I use to put Milk,sugar,rice & vanilla in a saucepan but I can't remember the measurements or method(sounds so easy but I am a sucker for the exact measurement:rolleyes: )

I saw this on Jamie the other night... One cup of rice, 4 cups of milk. A vanilla pod (or I'd guess 1 tsp of vanilla essence) and about 2 tablespoons sugar.
