I was just wondering something.....

Is Bert Newton gay or does he just pretend to be gay? :confused: He's still married to Patty, so I don't get it if it's a facade.

I hear he is leaving GMA and moving back to Channel 9 next year.

I guess they think it's funny. Yes it would be fairly embarrassing to be married to them :p But imagine how much money they have as compensation :D

I love Bert :) I think he is hilarious, and its a real shame that his show is coming to an end, how many other people can make a 3 hr infomercial into entertainment?? i dont think he is gay, he and patti seem very devoted to each other, i just think he is pretty good at playing the part;) :)

Bert has to be my favourite entertainer. He cracks me up everyday. He reminds me of my dad so much!! He is funny but also compassionate when he needs to be. Great guy!!!

Personally can't stand the guy (sorry to those Bert lover's), he really irk's me :eek: Those homosexual connotation's just make it worse (he really takes it a bit too far sometimes, I wonder what the gay community think of him?)
Glad the show is being axed, it is so annoying - would much rather watch Kerri-Anne any day.

I think Bert just loves publicity of any sort so he spins the gay thing every now and them just so people talk about him a bit. I think he is total full of himself but most celebrities have to be I guess

Poor Bert.I have to admit I like him as an entertainer,mornings just aren't going to be the same anymore.
As for him acting gay,he does go OTT sometimes,and is always paying out poor chef Tobie Puttock,making out he's gay....
