View Full Version : February Meet
Hey girls!
Do we have plans yet for a Feb meet?
What does everyone think?
Should we make the most of the summer weather and chance it outside? My kids would LOVE the run around and Immy started walking 12 days ago and it's like she's been walking for months so good luck keeping her contained! LOL!
I suggest St Davids park or the Botanical Gardens again, otherwise, bring on the suggestions!
*Kristy* I can come get you and the girls and drop you back off again - and we'll all fit better in my new car! ;)

I would be in on this too....as long as its a wed, thru, or friday.
Personally I love the Botanical Gardens cause it quiet (Oliver can sleep in his pram if he needs too), clean (Dont have to worry about cigarette butts as a rule!), and there arent any mall-ies hanging around scaring me! LOL
Let me know where you decide. :)
Wed/Thurs/Fri at Botanical Gardens works for us too!
Chelsea goes to school soon but it doesn't really matter if she's there or not. Same with Nicola & pre-kinder
I'm happy to work in with all those amaing working mummies! How does either the 21st or 28th for people? I think any earlier might be too early for people to organise?
Count me in, I would love to make it if I can and meet everyone. Botanical Gardens sounds good for either the 21st or 28th for me, although I have to organise transport as I don't drive.
I'm in, but a Wed is not good for me(we have swimming), Thurs or Fri is fine. so maybe the 22nd botanical gardens is gr8?

Going to give this one a miss guys.
Hey guys, have we decided on a date time?
I just realised that I have to pick Nicola up at 11:45 in Lauderdale on Thursday so if I come, it'll be later than usual.
So are we meeting for morning tea? Lunch?
22nd? 28th? Another time?
Whenever i'm good, alltho it is supposed to rain tomorrow!

Sorry Anna..... I totally forgot....I can try for next wednesday.....1130ish is a good time for me....botanical gardens.... :)
Guys I can't believe it but I can't come today :crying:
Look at my baby!!
Poor Immy (http://i121.photobucket.com/albums/o236/chenicimo/Febpics010.jpg)
She was attacked last night by one MASSIVE (and now massively DEAD) mozzie and has had a really bad reaction to it. She's got 3 bites on her face and another 6 on her arms and legs. They've ballooned up and they're all blistery so I've gone to the chemist for some gel and antihistamine so she's going to be a write-off for the day dosed up and sleepy. To top it off I have to pick Nicola up in a couple of hours from pre-kinder so I don't know how I'm suppose to wake Immy for that (might have to call my friend to do it).
Oh I'm so miserable coz I was looking forward to a day out of this house without having to run errands or rush to appointments :crying:
I hope you have a good meet and I guess we'll catch up with you all next time??
xoxo
oh no anna, hope immy gets better soon.
we will miss today also, it looks like it is going to rain

Aweee poor Immy!! :hugs:
Did anyone end up meeting today?
Immy's blisters are starting to burst but she seems to be coping fine. Back in bed 1/2 hour ago so hopefully she'll sleep for the rest of the arvo.
Poor thing, I hope they don't scar - they look so nasty.

My mum reacts like that too with mozzie bites, she used some special cream but I can't remember what?:o
Oh I'd just love to know what that cream is Kristy - and if it's safe to use on kids. The bites on Immy's face have all errupted today and the blisters broke so now I have to just pray that she doesn't scratch it further and that they don't scar. :crying:

Pop some calamine lotion on them to dry it out and take the itchy away.
