View Full Version : Anyone In Redlands?
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if there was anyone on Bubhub who was living in the Redland area? I am due mid-Jan and am still working at the moment but am finishing on Christmas Eve (I hope). I would be interested to know if there are any other Mums who will be in need of long walks, chat sessions and coffee mornings.
Cheers Trace & bub

in redlands but have a 7 month year old. So not a newbie sorry. depending on who you are is depending on if you will like it... but...the local baby health clinic does a group for the age of your baby I think every month or two, then there are ladies that have thier own groups in between, I signed up but in the end I was to busy. Nice ladies though.
Hi Jessandkirra,
Thanks for that, no worries about having a 7 month old, I need all the help and advise and fun I can get! I have another friend in Cleveland who is pregnant and due around the same time as me but that is it as far as baby social life is concerned.
Where is the local baby health clinic? I know it sounds like a really stupid question but I have not found one in the area...I probably should have been looking a bit harder... :o

I have sent you a PM on this matter. Cheers. Jess
Hi Trace.
Yes, I am in the Redlands area (Alexandra Hills) and am also keen to meet some new mums in the area. My son is 9 weeks old - not sure of what advise I can give, but am always keen to get out of the house for a coffee, walk etc.
If you are still keen to catch up after you finish work and have the new addition, drop me a line at closborn@bigpond.net.au

yes - that'd be great! :D tho i don't know how much longer i'll have transport for! i currently ride a moped & can't see myself riding it with a HUUUUUUGE belly (tho i may...) i just don't want to endanger bub's life! but, once i stop work i think i'll change to public transport, i don't think it'd be too hard to get to capalaba, cleveland, etc from here by bus...
lol we wont have a car, but public transport is excellent over there (compared to here anyway!) so it wont be any trouble getting anywhere... you have me cracking up picturing a big huge preggy lady on a moped!!!! haha

:smiliedance: Hi there ladies,
my name is Claire, Trace we have both posted on the "Due Jan 06" thread. I am also in the Redlands (Capalaba). I have 2 sons, Declan who is 3 in May and Caleb who is 5 weeks old. While I was pregnant with declan I had about 4 friends all pregnant at the same time but this time round I have known no-one so it would be great to catch up with anyone that want to.

Morning Sheridan,
you can count me in for outings. I'll have to pass on tonight with it being short notice but would love to meet up and as you said have some "ME" time. Let me know when you organise the next one. I am on Bubhub usually once a day so I will keep an eye out as well.
