Clomid and opk's

Can anybody share their experiences with me usign clomid and metformin. I had my last tablet of clomid over 12 days ago. I have had a second line on the opk since the 3rd of Feb( I never get a true positive not even when I fell pregnant but they definatley go away ) I am due a 21 day prgesterone test tommorow but god are my boobs enormous and sore and my belly bloated like no bodies buisness. I have had pains and pressure down below for days. Is this the clomid doing its thing still? I shoud l have ovulated on the 4th if all went to plan and sticks indicated or have I maybe ovulated late and this is it. I have ( tmi here) very white sticky copious cm) Has anybdoy else used opk's on clomid and had differeing results.

Are you being monitored for this cycle??
this is my second cycle of clomid and I have a scan to determine follicle growth and my fertility specialist informs me when ovulation is likely - usually I get a 48 to 72 hour fertile window.

there's no guess work??

clomid stimulates the ovaries to producing more follicles and it is quiet a good sign and normal to feel discomfort where your ovaries are.

No Im not being monitored as such. except for blood tests if thats what you mean
Feels like ovarys are workinger time atm so hope it is a ood thing then

your ovaries will feel like they are working
over-time & they are, it will settle down after ovulation.

blood tests ... I assume these are to check for ovulation?? I am not familar with this type of monitoring, it's seems 'open' to lots of other variables and leaves you not knowing what's going on IMO.
Maybe someone who has had this type of montoring ie., bt's on clomid cycles can help you further. I am sorry I can't help you any further, but wish you all the best on clarifying your cycles.

have you considered a refferal to a specialist to help you with this??

I am seeing a specialist and he didnt ask for any scans or anything. He just asked for a baseline blood test then a 21 day to see if I had ovualted which I will find out on Wed.
I am still shwoing a 2nd line on opks on day 22 and its been 10 days now so who knows hwats going on.

oh ok....I'm seeing a FS/Gyno and he does scans to check the follicles and dertermine when ovulation would be.

maybe if you keeping testing with the OPK's until you get a - ative and maybe keep track of Basal Blood Temperature.

have you straight out asked your specialist when your likely to ovulate? if not then I would, that's why you see him. To get answers to your questions and for him to manage your infertility.

Thanks for that. I speak to him on Wed so will ask meanwhile I just keep on getting 2 lines on the opk's..me thinks its the drugs. Will just keep on bd.
