Does anyone else find themselves watching Oprah today just to see how absolutely stupid Tom Cruise was on that show? Am i totally pathetic? I just wondered what all the fuss was about and have to say that he is a total idiot! Even when he wasn't jumping on the couch, he was doing stupid things all the time, like acting embarrassed about stuff....I wonder what Oprah actually thought about him...i know they're friends, but surely she had to think he was a tad weird??? I don't know why, but i just HATE him!

I was reading one of those gossip mags and they said their opinion as to why Tom Cruise was jumping around the couch and acting a fool was because that was when they suspect Katie Holmes first got pregnant ie he couldn't contain his excitement.
I can't stand him though!

It is all an act because he knocked her up. Poor Katie, poor Nicole to have ever been associated with him.

Yes I watched it for the second time LOL I hated it when he would try and get all deep and meaningful with those long drawn out sentences. You could tell O was trying to cut him off but he just wouldnt listen!
I think he must be a nice guy just a little eccentric for my tastes.
The thing that really annoyed me is when he was talking about his sons heritage and just basically blew the whole thing off "I dont see colour, its just not an issue for us" yeah right, I bet it will be an issue for his son when he feels disconnected from his heritage and culture and to have his own father disrespect it by not even acknowledging a huge part of who he is.JMO

You can't judge a book by its cover ....
but you can tell alot from the first page.
I don't know the guy, but personally he comes across as a huge tosser.
And hang about, I thought his boys couldn't swim ... are we sure it's his?

This is so true! Way to minimise something that is actually really important for the person (ie. their heritage / cultural background).

I'm just watching the 'colour' thing now, he HAS to acknowledge it for his son to be able to learn about his culture and race....
And yeah, i thought the reason he & Nicole adopted was because he was firing blanks.....Maybe she's preggers to Chris Klein (was that his name?) who she was with before, and then she got with Tom straight away?? Maybe that explains the advanced stage of her pregnancy????
I heard Nicole was pretty devastated when she heard about the pregnancy. If my ex-husband couldnt get me pregnant in 11 years to the point where I had to adopt, then left me and ran off with a 20 something with not much talent (compared to Nicole that is) and knocked her up straight away, I'd be pretty damn P**SD off too! :D

I think he acts really foolish and giddy to get everyone's attention but he is really just an idiot.

I watched 60minutes sort of the re-runs of previous interviews. TOM CRUISE is so arrogant! The way he speak to who is that guy- Peter O'Brien??
Anyway, I have always thought T.C. is arrogant anyway. He thinks too much of himself. Good Luck Katie Holmes!!

Well i think he is a lil weird.... & yes i thought he was shooting blanks to....cuz remember he was married to another lady...i cant remember her name atm.... but she couldnt have kids either for the same reason.... i thought it was a bit strange that she was pregnant.... & the bs about no sound whilst giving birth.... bloody males.... the are on another wave length. I think Oprah was prolly thinking "omg this man is scary & get off my couch u fool" . :p

They had a few children who want to be comedians so Jay Leno was helping them, one kid loved to dance, man he was adorable. Then they had a piano prodigy on who was 5, a little girl who know's american politics better than GW Bush kids like that twas very good :)

his 1st wife- Mimi Rogers. She said teh sme thing also when they divorced. He is a control freak-big time. And he can't gv her any children at that time. So they went seperate ways.

I missed the show but my MIL watched it and said that Tom was going to call his son William Oscar
My DS is named Oscar William
hmmm secretly hoping that Tom and Katie pick another name. ;)
Why oh why coiuldn't they be like every other celebrity couple and name their kid something like car or ticket. :confused: :D

You know what, I saw the start of Oprah today, never watched it the first time and thought, no don't need to see that nut case and logged into bubhub instead! ;)
I just don't get it, when he was with Nicole and even an interview with 60minutes earlier this year he went on about how he never talks about his personal life and how certain questions just shouldn't be asked and NOW, what a turnaround he just can't shut up about his personal life - what the! :confused:
Yeah i cant stand him either really i think his a bit of a sicko i mean how old is he the dirty old man.
I couldn't believe he acted like that on the Oprah show how would you feel watching that back :o
Every time i see him on TV i get so frustrated cause i think his an idiot.

I say leave them alone, if they want to flaunt their relationships then go ahead, there going to be in the newspapers and magazines anyway so they may as well have their say. But they must have something going as you all sat there and watched it. I'm not a big fan of any movie stars but he obviously has something going for him as he makes a hell of a lot more money than any of us.
And Kimmy why is he a "dirty old man" because there is an age gap - I hope that's not what you mean as my hubby is older than me and he certainly isn't a dirty old man!!!

the good thing about scientology is that it allows up to differentiate the whackjobs from normal people.
Did anyone see this morning that Tom has apparently bought his own ultrasound machine, so he and Katie can spy on their baby themselves!!! Scary stuff..
One of my friends is adamant that LR Hubbard started Scientology after having a bet with someone that he could start a religion :eek: . I've not heard this from anyone else, but it could be so... has anyone else heard similar? For a religion, it has some bizarre elements re psychology, lie detectors, aliens etc.

i watched that Oprah show also. What made me roll my eyes even more was the shots of the audience when he was jumping around like a jack-in-the-box. All the women were just about swooning at his antics. Bucket please.
