hi all,
just thought i'd see if anyone else out there still doing the Pantley No Cry Sleep Solution? I've just done my 10 day log, and as I suspected, there have been great improvements ... Ella for 3 days in a row has slept for 4.5 hours stretches YAY:yelclap:
The Pantley pull off and working on getting her to nap during the day seems to what has been working for me. My next step will be to try and actually stop giving her boobie when she wakes at night ... hmm we'll see how that goes down with my little angel :fingerscrossed: Plus, I need to actually make sure she's awake when I go in .. I am guilty of waking her when she is just grunting away I think (judging by the sleepy eyes that jerk awake when I tend to her!)
So for any of you who are doing it I hope you are having some results too .. I am really pleased so far (even though about day 5 and 6 I admit I was ready to just stop doing it). And I am feeling amazingly refreshed for the improved sleep!

Hi there,
Congratulations, that's very heartening to hear.
I've just read Elizabeth Pantley's book and am about to jump in and do my first log. I've been trying a few of her suggestions in isolation and practising those though (like the Pantley boob removal technique). I too have noticed that better day time naps seem to make a big difference at night - but frankly, that's half the battle. I have a really hard time getting my bub to nap for longer than 40 mins at a time and I'm so exhausted of going in there every half an hour during the day when she wakes up to spend another half an hour getting her back to sleep. It means I do v little else with my day. Any tips?
