is being very thirsty a preg sign?

I have been very thirsty in the last few days and was wondering if this is a eary preg sign! It is hard in these 2ww as you notice every little thing and wonder??:detective:

personally i dont remember being thirsty in my early stages of pregnancy but we are all different.
Maybe you are pregnant and are thirsty because but is taking all your fluids????
You never know.

YES!! Oh lordy yes! When I fell pregnant with Peanut I was SOOOO thirsty for a week before I found out I was UTD and then right up until I lost him. So, so thirsty!

I first noticed being thirsty around what I think was my implantation day and have been ever since (5wks preg now) I really noticed it because I never normally get thirsty!

I am 12 weeks pregnant and I drink about 3 ltrs a day. I just love drinking water.

I noticed I drank more when I fell preg, then is subsided except in #3 when it increased dramatically and turned out to be a sign of gestational diabetes! (only for later in pregnancy tho i think, not early)
