Advice on prep/pre schools please

Hey guys!:smiliedance:

Desperately seeking knowledge on the school system in Aus. I understand prep is the new pre school but if anyone has any advice on schools in the Albany creek area I would appreciate it.:thumbsup: Max turns 3 at the end of June but I'm unsure when he starts and as I'm aware you have to get their name down asap, soooo confused!:confused: (Also have a bub 9 weeks old, so I think being sleep deprived doesn't help!!:sleeping:

I think that Max will start prep in 2009, the year he turns 5 (as he is a first half of the year baby). I am still confused and both my kids are living through this :eek:

I also found this (http://education.qld.gov.au/etrf/ecsite04.html)page on the Qld gov site about schools that are offering prep.
