I'm not sure if you guys remember or not, but 3 days ago there was an 8 year old boy( Braydon ) who got run over while riding his bike in Burnie, it was all over the news. I saw the ambo's resussetating him and the blood all over the road, I'm struggling to get the picture out of my mind, I'll be a first time mummy this year, and it's really hit me hard. I dont know what to do... I've tryed talking to hubby about it, but he's brushed it off as pregnancy hormones, I'm sure it's more than that. He was only 8... i dont understand why God takes the little ones . I thought maybe talking to you guys might help.......:crying:

I have not heard about this (I avoid the news for reasons like this) what a terrible thing to have happen.

You sound like you may be in shock with what you saw. That is a very traumatic thing to have to see :hugs:

I did read about that..how awful that you saw it..

there is an ad on tv about a help line that can help you with that I will keep my eye out for you for the number.

So sorry it is taking its toll on you no one should have to see anything like that and it is no wonder you can't get it out of your head especially that you are pregnant and know that it was a child.. Try to keep yourself busy and:hugs: to you

Im so sorry that you had to witness such a terrible accident. As Three Sweet Peas said it sounds like you are suffering from shock. I suffered from this a few years ago when I reversed into a parked semi-trailer truck (im not a bad driver) and my Daihatsu Charade just crumbled and I had a full car. I was in schock for about a week because if i had of been reversing any faster I would have killed my brother  .

You can ring Lifeline on 13 11 14. They are available 24 hours a day. It may help you to give them a ring and have a chat to them about what you witnessed and how it is affecting you.

I hope your hubby realises that its not pregnancy hormones and the he will support you through what you are feeling.
