False +, Ovultion bleed, Implntation bleed, pregnant?? m/c?? period?? what a month!

Just wanted to share my story this month


My last period was Dec 28,
got a +preg test but was before i even ovulated ??
didnt ovulation until last Sunday 28 Jan (day 30ish!!!)
I had ovulation bleeding/spotting
8 days after ovulation i got brown spotting for 2 days (not enough for pad) - so i thought implantation bleed
Got neg hpt
1 day later (today) i went to loo at had a lot of bright red bleeding (almost pooring out) and clots, my period wasnt due until Sunday - did i have a spontaneous m/c?I had a m/c in november last year, and it was quite similar to that feeling. I've had continual niggling pain in my left lower abdomen.

Went to the doctors today, and she had no clue, didnt even know what implantation bleedint was or anything... so frustrating!

anyone else experince this???


I dont know if I had a spontaneous m/c, my normal period, or what... its so confusing!!!

maybe go to the doctors and they can give u a blood test to check ur hcg Levels... do u normally get clots with AF??

I know the TTC journey is so hard .....

Hi! So sorry to hear of what you've been going through. Just this last month I had some brown spotting mid cycle which turned into very heavy very bright bleeding. It got stronger as the days went by and I ended up seeing a dr and having blood test only to find out that I'd had a m/c - It must have been really early though as I was only mid cycle. I bled for 2 weeks and now am waiting for af. Hope all turns out ok for you.

I get my blood test results tomorrow, i have a feeling it was a m/c but very early..

dont know how much more i can take, im thinking of having a break from TTC - this is just way too much... :( :( :(

Unfortunately it does sound a lot like a m/c,i had something similar in December,i thought i was pregnant but no + test was 1 week lat for Af it started off light,then that night it got really heavy and very crampy was sooo painful,then 4 days later i got lots of clots and i thought this isnt right ive never had this before,and my doctor confirmed it was a m/c.Hugs to you hun i hope its not for you.

Sorry for the emotional trip you are going through.

It could just be an abnormal cycle, It is quite normal to have extended cycles that end with heavy clotting for no reason at all.

I think we notice them more when we are TTC. Also chose to believe we were pregnant cause thats what we really want.

The niggling pain could be an ovarian cyst.
Pain in the abdomen is very general, it's not like a pain anywhere else. You can feel it in places the pain not even be.

Other possibilities are that you ovlated twice in one cycle. This can happen too.

Unless you got a +ve blood test there is no way to kow it was a miscariage.

I hope your cycles sort themselves out and yout eggies are productive soon.

I had a similar experience last month after having a m/c in Sept 06 I too was worried it was happening again. I went to the doctor and she took a blood test to rule out a m/c and she said it was negative and that my period is obviously just abnormal this month.
She also said that if the bleeding was to continue a could be but on a prescription drug to slow it down.
I had exactly the same thing with hardly anything and was nearly sure I was pregnant, and then all of a sudden I had lots of bright red blood and then clotting.

:hugs: Ohh, Katie.. so hard isnt it. I hope the BT results shed some light on what the heck is going on.. I know I had clots with my M/C which was very early. But I had old blood untill the D&C.. So I dont know.. Red blood is always ominous I guess though.. Oh katie kitten, Im so sorry for you and your family. I dont blame you for wanting the break from TTC.. Thanks guys... well i got the blood test and the hormone was less than two... i guess it may have not been implantation bleed afterall, or if it was, way to early to detect hormone. either way, i guess nothing i can do about it now..

i have made a decision to take a break as i said, but from what i have read around here, sometimes thats when we get our best surprises! ??

Dont feel bad and depressed . i am there with you in the same position. Just imagine i even collected my urine to do the test and then i saw i am bleeding. That too 5o'clock in the morning:thumbsdown: . it is really difficult to except.

May be we ladies are taking too much stress and hence causing it more difficult for us to concieve. i think we should not think about it . Just let it happen as it is .
