freezing chicken

i have only just started freezing meat and thawing and defrosting it. how long can chicken be frozen for? I have just put some chicken in the oven that has been defrosted. its exp date was the 23 jan but it should be ok wont it?

yep, meat generally can be frozen for 3 months, regardless of the use by date:thumbsup:
