How cute that ur belly button is popping out Mandi! I think we should start adding photos to the belly pics thread again. It's been a while since anyone posted a pic! We should all be getting nice lil bellies soon if not already!

Absolutley have a round tum - but, this is #4 for us!

On #1 I didn't show 'properly' till I was 6 mths...

I'm wearing maternity pants - too big still, but just more comfy.

A customer asked the other week, 'is that a baby bump'...yes it is actually... would have been a bit embarressing if it wasn't:eek:

I've got a little potbelly. I wore an empire top yesterday and people at work said "oh you've popped a little" but today with a loose shirt on, you can't really tell!

I'm with all of you, can't wait till I'm showing properly. A friend overseas asked me if anyone has offered their seat to me on a train yet. I told him, I'm nowhere near that stage yet! Speaking of which, don't you just love that Com. Bank advert where the pregnant lady hits the guy over the head with a toy? That will be me !!

I love that Comm Bank add too! I am already showing quite a lot, I probably help it a bit by wearing tight clothes all the time! Like Angelgirl I am loving the belly band idea, I have made myself one and am going to make some more, they are great for wearing with your old clothes undone.

I must be showing quiet a lot because everyone is holding the lift door for me at work!;)

I love belly bands too especially while maternity clothes are too big.:)

I'm getting a bump is hard to hold my tummy in now so I've given up. Does look funny though when I do, had DF in hysterics the other day when I did it. Ribs hang out at top but then pot belly down bottom, when I suck it right in.

Can't wait till I get a proper bump too. Think I just look fat at the moment.

I want to start taking pics of my belly, only got one picture of each of my other pregnancies:(

Me too. I can look obviously pregnant if I want to, but then you can't tell other days at all.

A guy at work who just found out I'm p/g told me that he saw me last week and thought I was getting a bit out of shape!

Last time I didn't wear maternity clothes until I was about 6 months, and this time I am wearing maternity pants some days just becasue they're stretchy and comfortable, but I am forever pulling them up as I'm realy not that big.

It depends on what I wear as to if I look pregnant though. Some days I an just look like I've put on a few kilos, but if I wear an empire line top, I LOOK preggers!!!

I am beginning to dress to look pregnant though, as I'm tired of just looking fat.

I'm just over 12 weeks and my belly has popped. I can tell by looking in the mirror that I am starting to get the pregnant look. Can't wait for it to be much bigger.

Last time I was atleast 20 weeks before I started to look preg, I just looked fat not preg- it was very frustrating!
this time- I'm 15 weeks now- I'm popping out already.

I was looking like i had a bit of a baby belly - but i think it was me showering after i'd eaten dinner, cos it ain't that big anymore! i've got a bit of a pot, and pants don't button up anymore.

Some cow (cleaner where my mum works) asked me yesterday (before saying hello or any greetings) how much weight i'd put on. responded with very high pitched "WHAT?", and then asked if she was serious, when she replied "yes" i told her that is not a question she should be asking unless she knows the person well.

I wasn't about to tell her i've put on 6 kg's (haven't told many people that), and when you start at 44 kg, and have trouble putting on weight, it's a celebration!

My pants don't do up anymore but it's not an obvious show yet... I think some people are starting to wonder but we've only told a very few close people... They must be wondering if I'm just eating too much!!

In between my hip bones started slowing coming out at 14 weeks, by 17 weeks i looked pg, but could suck it in in public to avoid dirty look's.3 days ago my belly button begun slowing popping out.I am 18 weeks now cant hide my belly anymore i cant suck it in :( .

Yesterday my mum saw me...(she know's iam pg) her jaw dropped, she said "keirra you've really packed on the weight this last week! you should stop eating so many hot chips!!" I ****ed myself laughing!! I replyed "MUM IAM PREGNANT!?!?!"..couldnt get over that one!!

I have been showing for awhile now. This is #1 so I don't know if its normal to show so early.
My partner thinks its funny to poke and see how hard my bump is.
I was out of my normal clothes around the 14 week mark.

Not at all - bit disappointing really.

But then again this is number 3 so I have alot of room to fill in there. :D :o .

Both previous pregnancies my belly button never popped out - I was absolutly devastated as I thought that was what happened when you were pregnant.

So I'm not holding my breath that this one will pop out. But you never know as this pregnancy is so much different from the other two.

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and I've had a number of people comment that my tummy looks very small for half way and it's starting to get to me.

I was telling a friend last night that I had spent the day shopping for maternity evening wear for an upcoming wedding. She said to me "What do you need maternity for? You're really not that big, surely you have something in your wardrobe that fits". What the h*ll would I be shopping for an outfit if I had something at home that fitted me? I told her all my evening dresses were too small and she couldnt believe it.

It made me feel really silly. Almost like I was an unpregnant woman shopping for maternity clothes.

I wish people would think before they speak.

:hugs: angelgirl, dont let them get to you. We are all different, bodies through to birth through to parenting.

I have 2 friends who at half way you could not tell they were pregnant, seriously not tell. At full term they looked like i look now (biatches!!!). I get the opposite- omg, are you having twins, or, ooh wouldnt want to be pushing THAT baby out (i hear blah blah blah whatever)

Tell ya the truth i am jealous, reckon your body might take a little less of a beating ;) OR you could have a massive growth soon and end up as big as a......(insert whatever)!!

You go get yourself a gorgeous evening gown maternity or not- and remember ignore ignore ignore. Finally enjoy the night out, and more importantly the sleep in the next day;)

hahaha.....thanks Jamb :hugs:, I feel much better!! I know I should ignore them but after awhile you start to think "well maybe they're right". Anyway the scan shows that bubs is growing normally and all is good so I'm happy with that.

Funny this is, my boobs are massive so maybe in comparison, my tummy doesn't look as big!!

hmm you could be onto something there! my boobs are so small so my tummy sticks out way beyond them, definitely onto something there me thinks!!

I get the same "twins" comment or "gee your huge".
I've already at 20weeks put on 10.5kg. I've gone from size 10 to size 12 with obvious tummy.

I dislocated my knee about the same time I fell pregnant, so as well as morning sickness (only eating bread etc) I wasn't going to the gym(which I went everyday beforehand). I put on 8.5 kgs in the first 12weeks, but then 5weeks later I'd dropped 1kg from that weight.

Now I feel healthy and I'm exercising again. I don't diet and I listen to what my body wants (at the moment its milk)

AngelGirl (did I get it right this time - ha!) with my first one I was stil in my normal cloted until well over half way. People were questioning whether I was pregnant. I had a big growth spurt in the last trimester.

This time around, it's another story. Although I have put on the same about of weight as last time, I have a much bigger bump.

Ignore then darl.

AngelGirl - the boobs issues sound exactly like me.. They just keep on growing and SORE...

This is my 3rd and i still do not look preggers, but reading that others are not either puts your mind at ease.

AngelGirl (did I get it right this time - ha!)

 ...yep! I reckon I will be the same, have a massive growth spurt in the last few months!

2cherubs - it's good to hear it's not only me. I'd say we probably just carry a little differently to everyone else and as Kirst did, we will both probably have a massive growth spurt at some point and people will say "wow, when did that happen?!!"

I'm massive! I have a GIANT bump and some days its SO STRETCHED so tight that it feels like its going to bust open!

but everyone is different. At 30 weeks my friend was hardly even showing anything more than a pot belly...no big huge basketball in her tummy....and I am opposite - I am OUT THERE

i guess it makes no difference to the baby's size...its just your own body doing wahetever the hell it wants!! hahaha
