I used to be a bit of a soapie addict...back in my uni days, when I was home alot during the day!

These days I only catch DOOL once in a blue moon - but its still relatively easy to keep up with the stories and characters - nothing much changes!

I tell you what though, I was REALLY relieved when Shaun finally escaped from Jan's evil clutches... they really dragged that story line out..

I miss the old Belle though...the new one just annoys me!

Hi girls

I to am a soapie addict. I am not as bad now as i was before they fast forward a couple of years on Days and The young and the restless.

Mum and i used to be that bad that if we weren't home we used to tape it :eek:

I go through stages of which one i like better depending on the story line. Even though i know that they are all so far fetched it is not funny.

Ever since staying at home with my daughter I have become hooked on Days of Our Lives. At least though if you do miss a few episodes you still know what is going on.

But this is how I feel about the show:

1. I wish Billy would just give up on finding her daughter as I do not beleive she is out there. She just wants Beau back.

2. I wish Belle and Shaun would just get back together.

3. I think Kate needs a good slap across the face. (She annoys me big time)

4. Sammy needs a good wake up call

5. Tony De Mira is just an idiot

But overall to me it is good veiwing. Drama Drama Drama

I am a dool fan, sadly to say. I think of it more as a comedy than anything that can be taken seriously. Its ridiculous!lol.

I think Hope is a pain in the bum, she is creating the problems with her hubby herself.
Kate is a total hag...Her and John make a good couple right now! I love the looks he gives...they crack me up.
Sammy..well she is now a he/she...I missed that Demira transformation.

Mandymoo... I think Chelsea is Billys daughter..????

Isabella is annoying with her, "But I am a married to Phillip, He is my husband" Can we please move on from that???

And then theres Jack...How did he get so close to being safe and then all of that happend? I love Jacky, he is a cutie. I think Tony's sidekick is funny too.

Thats about all that gets me with that show. Oh and Marlena and Roman snogging?? :eek: Brrrr. Not very nice AT all.

I rather enjoy it otherwise, my nanna got me hooked!! :D

I thought the same thing a few months back when Billy starting looking for her daughter that for some reason Chelsea may be her daughter. I reckon we will find out in 6 months time, thats how long they drag things out. No wonder the show has been going for years and years.

John needs a bullet I reckon, put him out of his missery now. I read in a magazine that Marlena and the other fella finally get back to Salem and that John and Kate are engaged.

I can't wait for tomorrows episode now, need my fix of crappy drama....

I just noticed in the new TV guide, that next week (or at least, for Mon Tues and Wed) DOOL is not on???? It is being replaced by repeats of Judging Amy (which BTW i do like, but godDAM what about DOOL!!??) followed by cricket cricket and more stupid cricket.

I am a DOOL fan, but lately I tend to watch half an hour of it and then .... go on bubhub (I originally wrote " and then do the dishes" but decided I couldn't lie...)

Belle gets pregnant soon! After Phillip comes back she discovers she's pregnant.... question is, who is the father??!!! (Soapie writers never get sick of that storyline!)


Does anyone else think that Tony is actually Stefano, in disguise??? Or he's had plastic surgery or something??? He's not called "The Phoenix" for nothing.... I think there's no way Stefano can be dead.

I had to ask someone here that very same question. I'll tell you what I know (which is third hand).

Sammy has been getting mysterious messages (phonecalls?) from Tony D. But she doesn't know it's Tony D. He arranged for her to be dressed up as a guy and to get John back on drugs (which she did). He also told her to leave the tape for Billie masquerading as her daughter Georgia (which she did too). I don't yet know what Sammy gets out of all this :confused: , but she's cracked anyway - so maybe she doesn't care.

It seems like Tony has cameras all over Salem, watching what everyone is doing. Everything that happens is all part of the "master plan"..or some crud.
I can't beleive that guy that is staying with Jen (cant remember his name) is working for Tony still..prick! Everyone trusts him..all the girls do anyway.

I think Sammy just wants REVENGE...Everyone that has done wrong by her is going to pay..like she has been a saint ??!! So thats her pay off.
I wonder how she is going to react when she knows shes done it all for Tony?

LOL Mumm-2-2 love your style, but haven't tried soapcity.com. The website I use is www.tv.com - easy to remember and I have been so amazed at how many shows I remembered once I started to look. (They even have defunct Australian ones on there like Paradise Beach and Chances along with ones I watched as a kid like Silver Spoons and Punky Brewster).

For any of you who can't stand the suspense - we're somewhere around episode 10,030 :D

OK DOOL fans..... I'm bumping this thread, in the hope that somebody else saw this and laughed their a** off, just as I did.

So Caroline and Victor are locked in the castle too? I kinda forgot about them (I guess the scriptwriters did too LOL) So today it shows them playing cards (oh what a perfectly civilised way to pass the time whilst being held captive) and I have a question:

Has Tony been sending in a hair stylist to colour, cut and style Caroline's hair all this time??

And if so, obviously that hair stylist is also a plastic surgeon, who has been administering Marlena's botox shots!


And finally FINALLY I think Billie realises that Chelsea is Georgia! I predict (and honestly I haven't read a soapie mag or looked on the net for ages) that Billie will become great mates with Chelsea's (adoptive) mother, who will at some point reveal that Chelsea is in fact adopted, and Billie will take 2 years to put 2 and 2 together.... I mean come on, she has her mother's hair, her mother's eyes, her mother's sl*tty attitude, her grandmother's penchant for drugging people, her father's rebellious streak.....

OK i feel better now, just had to get that all off my chest. :D

OK Cassie and Rex are twins. They are the Gemini Twins (this all happened during the 4 years that Australians missed). Stefano created them (or more correctly, probably Rolf created them) in a laboratory. He had somehow harvested Kate's eggs (remember she was his favourite ***** at one stage before she came to Salem) and Roman's sperm (during one of his stints as Stefano's prisoner) and created the twins. (of course, this kind of technology isn't yet possible, but with Stefano anything is possible:rolleyes: )
Anyway, at some point, a spaceship (no I'm not kidding) landed in Salem, dropping these 2 teenagers out of it. They are the Gemini Twins, who had been brought up in a laboratory. Somehow it became known that they are Roman and Kate's children. Cassie was apparently "murdered" by the Salem Stalker at Roman and Kate's wedding reception - her "body" dropped out of the pinata :D . Ergo, Cassie was transported to the island of New Salem with all the other "murder victims".

I only know all this because of a "catch up" synopsis in a soapie mag, so I could have details wrong...

I just think it's funny that every time Roman refers to Cassie, he says "My daughter Cassie" and when Kate refers to Rex she says "My son Rex" LOL just in case any viewers missed that storyline....

I admit to being a DOOL fan. I remember I used to wag school in the 80's to watch it, sad, yes but true. I once saw Theo (can't spell his surname) AKA Tony DM at Sydney airport, he'd just come off a flight. I wish someone would get rid of Sammy and Kate, they both drive me nuts. I change the channel when they're in. Does anyone remember when the actress who plays Bonnie Lockhart was Adrienne Kiriakis? Also the sister of Steve AKA Patch and Jack Devereaux.

I do remember that Bonnie was Adrienne, was she also a separate character who was Patch's sister, or was Adrienne Patch's sister.

OK fellow DOOL-fanatics..... I missed it the last two days, and when I switch it on today suddenly all the hostages (Roman, Marlena, Jack and Cassie) are on a plane headed for Salem!!! What happened!!!?????? I notice Caroline and Victor are not there... and wasn't Philip being held in Di Mera's castle also?? And someone mentioned Tony is dead???!!! I know he's the bad guy but :( :rolleyes: I don't want Tony to be dead!!!!
