I have some questions. I think i may have ovulated due to a temp dip, EWCM and off and on cramping today. But i keep getting negative OPK's. Dh and i bed the day before yesterday (on CD 17) and he is unfortunately away tonight so we are unable to BD. How do you rate the success of me getting pregnant from the BD two days ago? I am so worried that i may have missed it now and could absolutely cry if that is the case.
I am also due to have a P4 test on Thursday to see if i did indeed ovulate. Should i delay the test a week or so for the levels to build up if i have ovulated or should i just go ahead and still have it anyways? Also why would i keep getting negative OPK's, and shouldn't they at least be getting darker in the lead up to O?
I am at my wits end as this could be the first possible ovulation that i have had in probably a year and will be soooo mad if i have missed the opportunity.
Thankyou to anyone that replies.

:hugs: sweetheart,
You sound like me! I never got a +opk though because I never ovulated, so hoping its a completely different situation for you! Did you get any line at all? Some women miss their surge if theyre only testing once a day...it can be that quick. I would keep bd'ing (when you DH gets back anyway) until your temps confirm you have in fact ovulated. If yyou have ovulated, its still very possible to get pg from your "session" 2 nights ago. If your cm was good quality ewcm, sperm can last as long as 5 days in there. As for the p4, if your temps over the next couple of days confirm you have ovulated, I would wait another couple of days to take the test. But if they dont, get the test and you can know one way or the other.
Sorry youre going thru this. I know what you mean in that I havent ovulated since I got pg with Carter almost 2 years ago...and believe me, Ive been tryin! Its so frustating the not knowing and trying to time everything perfectly. If you need anything, let me know! Keep us posted!

Thankyou so much hun. I think i am going to go out of my mind. I prob have missed the surge on the opk as i always leave it il really late in the evening to do them. Silly me. I did read that the opks just do not not work with some people. I have PCOS so that could be why also, and this is my very first cycle on 25mg of Clomid. I only started getting the EWCM today. I definetly will think about getting the p4 test done on monday now instead of thursday. Thankyou for being so informative and understanding. It does make me feel so much better.:hugs:
Here is a link to my chart if you wanted to have a look.

No worries. You and I have a bit in common I think...in that I also have PCOS and am about to start my second round of clomid...
As for your chart, it looks like it might be a pre-O dip, but its hard to say...you'll just have to see what the next few days' temps are. If you look at my chart, I have so many spikes, I can never rely on the dips as pre-O dips anymore. Its a good sign that you have ewcm tho...
Dont stress too much about it...easier said than done, I know. :D Just get back to bd'ing when dh gets back and I would keep testing with the opks for the next few days as well. Some women dont O until quite late on clomid - like cd21 or later.
Good luck! Ill keep an eye on you!

Dont get grossed out but after pregnancy #7, (DS and DD, m/c= 5)the only way I could tell when I was ovulating is to check out what my cervix was up to every day , I had really irregular periods so ov tests werent really helpful. Best of luck:fingerscrossed:
