Hope everyone isn't feeling too hot & your meds are not making you go mad with those 'pains'. How nice is it to be a dad  Someone should invent a dad wombs. So both parents can have a go at :chef: ...We went to the clinic to see how our embryos were doing so far embryologist said  1 = 6 others 4 & 2 splits. They are happy with their progress to date.No tel yet- it be a Saturday implant. Suits us well cause the healthier the blastocyst the better the outcome. We've a dinner date with family friends tomorrow night. I hope this surgery pains won't be so troublesome. She'd make the effort to cook a lovely meal I must make an effort to control the pain before I get there.Take care. 118

Hey gals. I hope I'm not intruding. My nurse has gestimated that I will be due on Nov 1, but won't be finding out for sure until my 7 week viability scan on March 15th.

Good luck to everyone that is in TWW. Hope you get a BFP!!!!

Oh lucky you Hoping........ getting an early scan.

I havent been to the docs yet - were moving house this weekend so will try and get in next week sometime for that blood test.

Tested with a clearblue this morning and it came up positive so im pretty happy about that!!

Anyone having any symptoms? Im really tired! Also I keep waking up at 3am STARVING lol. Hopefully that will keep the morning sickness at bay anyways!

:wizard: Heres for a whole group of sticky November babies!!!

Congrats to everyone here that is expecting.

want2haveabub: Sorry should have explained that mine is an IVF baby, hence the 7 week dating scan and viability scan. Have to make sure the bub is growing and still OK. Also to see if it has a heartbeat. Really anxious about it but hopefully it will turn out good.

All: This is our first bub so we're really excited. Not sure what to expect but will be seeing the OB in late March. I still haven't got any symptoms yet but it is still early days (5 weeks). My GP reckons that m/s will start between weeks 6 and 8. Hope I am one of the lucky ones that soldiers on and doesn't get too sick.

118: Good to see you in this thread as well.

 how are you all Nov buddies? Hope lent & all it's fasting restrictions for RC has made :barf: . Update, so far my levels have been good. I'm due for my 1st. ultrasound to see Niny on Friday or Saturday morning next week. Still need to confirm with hubby. Then Dr can give me a credible EDD. From net calculators Niny EDD anywhere from 17/10 to 1/11. Yes, ladies I too get letargic most of the time & get these cravings plus  food quirks.Makes cooking a bit tricky cause I'v to do all the cooking for hubby & I. Currently not into oily smelling food prefer salty taste food & not too keen on sweets inc. my favorite chocolates & deserts. Thank Goodness my parents have gone home. If they were here mum would be cooking all the Malaysian meals I can't tolerate plus it'd blow our cover. We're not keen on telling them that I'm pregnant via ICSI till it's necessary cause :ecomcity: around the world. Cheers, 118

geez alot of babies due on the 6th nov... What were all you ladies doing around the same night..

My doctor is sending me for a ultrasound when i'm 10 weeks to confirm dates and everything.

Had really no symptons yet. Just really tired and bloated.

And no morning sickness yet.. Hopefully it stays away. When i was pregnant with the girls i had it from 5 weeks, it was terrible. Had it straight for 9 months.

Hope everyone else is doing well

mummyof2, the nurses at the fertility clinic like it if you have m/s, it is a sign that bubs is doing well. I had it about week 6 and then just before my 8week scan it stopped and I found that bubs had stopped growing. This time round I was feeling queasy on and off for a few days and yesterday it stopped, I felt fine all day so now I am hoping it will come back so I dont worry so much. (silly I know, I cant help it though)

Hi everybody  I am really excited to have finally moved from TTC forum..Well..a little about me. We have been ttc since Oct 05..had m/c #1 in Jan 06, then to fall pg again straight away but sadly m/c again in March 06.:crying: Both of these were called "blighted ovums" where the sac and placenta develop but the fetus doesn't.Unfortunately you feel pg as its the placenta that generates the hcg which registers and you have to sometimes wait til 12-14 weeks for your body to figure out the baby has not grown.I found out at via u/s and had not m/c naturally by 11 weeks so ended up having a D&C both times. No spotting, cramping..not a thing. In fact felt so pg and was devastated that the pg hadnt progressed.

After much trying, stress and sadness I finally got a bfp last week, confirmed by BT as well with an EDD 5 Nov 2007..YAY!! Now is the long wait until the u/s (praying like crazy everything is ok) and also having the hcg levels monitored for the next week but I dont rely too heavily on that because of the past losses.

I really hope this is it and wish everyone a healthy and happy 9 months. :hugs:

06-03-2007, 11:33 AM
Linkey, you must be pretty tense waiting for the u/s - I bet you wish you remain unconscious until the time comes! How early can you have a u/s to detect a blighted ovum? Do you have to wait til after the heart develops? I really hope that it goes ok for you.

I have had two miscarriages since we started ttcing in Jan 06 and that is causing me a fair bit of uneasiness too. Every time I have cramping (and I've had a lot) I get very paranoid.

Well i haven't got to hide it from work anymore.. My boss can pick up senses, and she put her hand on my shoulder, and said your pregnant or are going to get pregnant.

So i ended up telling her. But i said the only reason i didn't say anything is because i wanted to wait till 12 weeks incase anything happens, :fingerscrossed: it doesn't.

I have been having a bit of pain today, (like wind pain) Mum thinks its growing pains and felt abit sick this morning.

Hope everyone else is going well..

4tiggers - your hcg levels look really strong. Here's hoping it keeps going that way.

Thanks for all the sticky thoughts everyone. I'm sure mine's a sticker too - too many strong symptoms for me to be too paranoid. My boobs have grown at least half a cup size since last week

Hey guys, just read all the posts to date, and I would like to announce that I too look like having a Nov bub! I hate to say it, but we were not trying, infact actively not trying, so we don't have any dates and have to wait for a scan for a due date-but in my vagueness I can remember a month!

We have a twelve month old who is just beautiful-but what a handful! I'm a bit scared of two under two, but the idea is fast growing on me!:smiliedance:

I can't believe how many TTCers are in here! Did you all get together and decide that November is a good month?!! (Just kidding)

I know how awful this time is, especially if you have lost little ones before (as I have too), but something is clearly in the air - and November is the time by the looks of it. If we can just stick in there, I'm sure our tiny miracles will try their hardest to do the same!

Looking forward to this long, stressful and totally worthwile journey with you all!

Hey katie welcome to the club. I am the same as you and wasnt actively trying to get pregnant. I also have 14 month old son and like i worry about 2 under 2 but i am becoming rather fond of the idea now.

Oh and the pregnancy vitamins are huge i like the elevit ones cause you can actually break them in half so they dont feel like they are going to get stuck in your neck.

Hi everyone!!

Well, I'm pregnant too. Am very surprised at all the TTCs in here!! Hope everything goes well for you all :fingerscrossed:

Got knocked up the usual way - so I hope I'm not intruding or making anyone too jealous. I sure admire you IVFers - let's hope they all stick!! Found out I was preg on monday. Don't know when it is exactly due...I'm hopeless! Guessing it'll but about the 11th - Rememberance Day!!! Sure will give me something to remember.

I have a 1 year old girl already. SO like you others I am worried about the 2 under 2 thing, but she's so lovely and we're aware of all the difficulties so I think it'll work out okay.

We're hoping for healthy above all but then a boy (if possible) and next a better sleeper than Sophie! lol. But if we just get healthy - then I am thrilled with that. I have some morning sickness but so far is better than last time - just started earlier this time! Also feel so tired...not fun chasing after Soph getting into everything at the moment!

See some of you had March babies last year - same as us!! Sophie was 9th March. When were your ones born?? when should we tell the babies/toddlers?

hey there and welcome to the club!! I had my DD in march last year on the 7th! I am trying not to think of 2 under 2  its a little scary atm but we'll be right!

I'm not sure what to tell DD I dont thik she will understand wat's going on-well i know she wont but I intend to get the book 'there's a house inside mummy' and other books like that and read those to her every day.

Anyone with older children thinking of taking them into delivery with them? my mother asked me if i would today but I really dont want to. I think it would be too traumatic for a 21 month old.

morning sickness kicked in today :barf: DD has been sick too so we have been up at hospital with her but :fingerscrossed: she will be ok

take care everyone

We are seriously considering it. We just dont have anyone close that we could leave our daughter with. We will see though. It depends on how things go & what the hospital says. Also means that DH will have to be there for both of us as again, there is no-one to be with her.

Not for us.. Jacob will be 2 and 4 months and i just dont think i would cope well with him there.. I think he would be to young to understand the pain i would be going through and i would be worried to much about him to contrentrate on the job at hand..

But we are lucky enough to have our family around so we have several options depending on when i go into labour... SIL,MIL,my mum,my dad, my brother..

But i can understand that if there wasnt anyone then obviously its the best option.. Just not for us..

But whoever has him will be bringing him to the hospital when i start pushing (aprox) so he will come in minutes after the birth and still be the first person (apart from my DP) to see the baby..

The book sounds like a fantastic idea Kate! But I don't think I'll explain it to her properly until a month before it's due. I can't believe both of our kids will be so similar in age at the same time. You don't happen to be in Sydney do you??

Here's hoping your little one is okay in hospital. Look after DD and of course yourself. :fingerscrossed:

I've had so-called morning sickness for a week now. Not impressed....Last time it started at 7 weeks and this time it's about 5!! Any tips?

I've been constantly grazing. I do not care about any weight gain (last week I would have been mortified - I had been trying so hard to lose baby fat) I'm just stuffing myself because if my stomach gets anywhere close to empty I feel awful.

My GP recommended eating a really mild cheese like Tasty -which helps. So does Milo. I've also been sniffing lemons, getting lots of fresh air and ginger ale. Doesn't really help. Just counting down the days until the second trimester (54) when hopefully it will go away.

DP and I have the same problem....what to do with Soph while we are in hospital. He's from Canada and I'm originally from Melbourne now in Sydney. So we have no family here. I have some friends, I suppose they'll have to do unless mum comes up from Melb.

We're planning on a caesar (long story) so there's no way Sophie can be there too.

Kate I just saw your post again and you are from Sydney!! Silly me didn't read your post properly.
