I really need help learning to relax. I sleep about 6 hours a night and if I'm lucky squeeze in 30 minute nap during the day.

I stress out very easily and I'm constantly on the edge. I'm suffering from health problems because I can't relax.

Is there anyway to relax when baby is awake and I can't leave him?

how old is baby? Can you pop bubs in a rocker/highchair and do some yoga or if not, whack on some music, pump it up and go nuts :D

Super quick one (yes I had to use it this morning)

Breathe in through your nose as you count to 4 (1, 2, 3, 4)
Breathe out through your mouth as you count to 8 (1, 2, 3 etc)

Repeat 3 times.
If you're into visualisation you can visualise the air you breathe in as clean and stress free air, and the air you breathe out as your stress.

I walk... I pop the dude into the pram and walk aimlessly around the area where I live... and as I walk I point things out to him, the birds, a car etc...

Actually, at the moment I waddle :D.

Exercise is the best relaxant for me, I find if I try to do yoga or calming exercises when I am excited and stressed, I just can't concentrate properly and therefore it's not effective for me... when I exercise though, I try to walk pretty fast and when you get puffed, you can't really think of anything else but being puffed, and it takes your mind off everything... lovely.
