Hello, I really need help! This is my second bub and I used disposables first time round as he was a bad sleeper and I was too exhausted to think about any other options.....this time things are a little calmer and I would love to try the cloth thing. I have been looking around at some of the websites and am so OVERWHELMED with the choices of fitted cloth nappies!!!! The price is also a bit overwhelming (I know I know I know, disposables add up to a lot over the years too).

What fitted nappies have you used and what do you recommend??? Value for money and comfort?

Do you have to wash in warm water can you wash in cold?

Any other hints and suggestions from experienced cloth nappy users? Come on, convert me!!!

I strongly suggest that you have a look around the cloth threads.. there are so many informative threads.

As for fitteds.. i love Bamboo Baby Beehinds so soft and so absorbent and they are a one size fits most but one thing you need to keep in mind is that.. what may work for other's may not necessarily work for you so instead of buying bulk of one kind of nappy try a few different one's and see what works best for you.

Also, if you want to make life easier buy a 'little squirt' that hooks into your toilet system for squirting poo's off.

You can wash in cold if you like, there's no rule that says that you can't unless you have a heavily stained nappy which can be fixed by hanging your nappies out in the sun so that the UV sanitises them and removes the stains.

It is overwhelming! I also suggest trialling a few diff styles and see how they work for you and bub.
We have tried quite a few and now like what we use now - mostly wahm made nappies. Always wool for covers. Works for us!
