Not for a while. :p but I was talking to someone and they suggested that when Cobey's around 9 months he could just be having one bottle around lunch time as well as the breastfeeds before work and before his dinner.

He currently eats at Breastfeed 6am, Solids 6.30, EBM 10am, Solids Midday, EBM 2pm, Breastfeed about 5 or 6pm, Solids after that and another feed around 8 for bed time.

He rarely wakes at night for a feed.

How would I implement the one bottle at lunch time thing without leaving him starving? :p Do I start now by asking him to be bottle fed 15 - 30 minutes later than usual? Just drop the bottle? Follow his cues? But I'm unsure of his cues as I'm not there and I don't know how a bottle fed bub tells you they don't want anymore.

Hmmmm

I would follow his cue. I would actually give him his but a little bit more solid at lunch time and maybe either cut out how much you give him of EBM.

but I don't want to cut out his EBM.. well, I want to cut an entire bottle.. but I don't want it to be a right away thing.

I can't watch his cues as he's in daycare 5 days a week. When he's with me he likes to breastfeed anywhere from 3 hours between to 4.5..

Hmmm DS is about the same age as Cobey - I was told he only needs 3 B/F a day at this age  ...

He now gets 7.00am, 11 am yoghurt at 3.00pm and his last feed at 7..00pm ..

was hard weaning him off his 3pm feed - for me more than him he seems very happy and has started sleeping through ever since?

Maybe try giving him the 10am feed a bit later and the 2pm one earlier???

Dunno - the Queen should give some good advice ....

Yeah.. I asked Grandma today and she tells me that he's not asking for the 10am feed, it's simply that he hasn't eaten for a while....

Today he was there for longer (so I could catch up on sleep) and he still only had 2 bottles there, there's a third one waiting for him but he never asked for it.. in fact he had about 130mL at 10am, then 190mL at about 4!!!! (he fell asleep before she could give him the 2pm one...) he didn't have solids for lunch either (refused)

I've just fed him (only feed since 4pm) and he's fallen asleep - hopefully for the night!
