Doc appointment went well- he laughed at me for taking so many tests. id never been to him before but he was lovely and made heaps of jokes. I have another appointment in a month he wants to take blood to do tests and do an US. He said I was 5 weeks 2 days along. IT all felt very real all of a sudden sitting in that office!

I had my first in Tassie, and went thru most of my pregnancy with my 2nd in Tassie too and I always had a U/S when I found out I was pregnant for a dating scan, then again a routine one at 12 weeks to check all is well and then again at 18 weeks (to check organs and also sex if you want to)
Since moving states I have learnt that most other states only do one U/S at around the 18 - 20 week mark.
So don't worry, it wouldn't be because you are younger ( I had my girls at age 15 and 19) or because anything is wrong ;)

Wow Congratulations girls!
Very happy to know more July 06 mums2B!
I feel quite unprepared for motherhood, I still feel a bit too young for being a mum and I'm 26. I know it doesnt make sense. I've been married for a few years now and I knew this was on the cards.
Maybe because all the friends I know that have babies are all in their 30's?
I've always been the little one!
I've still got 7 months to grow up!!!
Rachel. :o
