This morning my 7 year old trying to wake me up....

"mummy, mummy, she hasn't been!!"

Me in my half asleep mode... "who hasn't been?"

she says with tears in her eyes..."the Tooth fairy.. she didn't come and get my tooth from under my pillow"

OMG!!!!  I forgot all about it!! I forgot that she lost her tooth yesterday (she was at a party) and I didn't exchange it for any money!!!!!! How norti is that!!!

So with my quick thinking I explained that the tooth fairy only comes if the tooth is under the pillow with the person who lost the tooth is sleeping on.... she came into our bed (as she does every night) so therefore the tooth fairy didn't take the tooth....

I must do it tonight....if she stays in her bed!!!!

Quick thinking! :yelclap:

I remember my mum forgetting for WEEKS to do ours (back then i didn't know she wasn't real, or rather, pretended i didn't know, otherwise i wouldn't have gotten my money!).

You better remember tonight or you'll be in trouble! :shame:

That was close!!
Don't feel bad though my DD lost tooth one 3 weeks ago & the tooth fairy still hasn't been. My excuse - she won't come til there is water in the cup. This same tooth has already had a trip to the s bend in the bathroom. By the way what is the going rate for teeth?

I remembered last night :yelclap: She stayed put (luckily).

The gong rate for our first four teeth is two dollars.... I used to get a measily 20cents, it has gone up with inflation!!
