artificail insemination

im25/26 weeks fallen by artificial insemination after 8 months of tracking folicles and cycles,chlomid and the rest, im new, anyone out there in similar boat.

I have been doing IVF well ICSI we have one DD whos 15mths which we concieved through IVF.
We have been trying naturally for 7mths now and we were hoping to not have to go back to IVF so the dr has suggested go back to the FS and see about insemination.
So we are in the learning stage we don't really know anything about it or it's success rate.

sksty, the doctor told us yesterday that the success rate with artificial insemination is about 18%, whereas IVF it's about 40%. But it's definately better to try artificial insem first for a few goes before trying IVF as it is so much less invasive (and cheaper too).

Littledarling- The money thing is a real factor and seen as we already have 1 blessing if it doesn't happen for us again atleast we have one. Some don't even have that.

Those % aren't that great though are they?
