Bleeding/discharge after having baby

I am just wondering after having bubs, how long did you have the bleeding/discharge? I know it suppose to change colours from red to pink and yellow and white but it is now 17 days after having bubs and I am still having the red colour and passing small clots. I am hoping that this won't be like this for the whole six weeks, I am so over it now.

I was told it could stay on for up to 6 weeks ! :eek:

Mine certainly did't follow the pattern given - it stayed red like a period for quite a while. The quantity decreased though quite quickly.

Mine was red blood for around 4 weeks then went pink for another 2 weeks then whitish for 2 weeks, which brought me up to last week and I had an IUD put in, so went back to red till yesterday. Now it is back to white, with a streak of pink accasionaly...was that TMI? :o
