OK, so the Sydney Mum's met and are meeting again. It was a great gathering and although the travel was well worth it, I can understand the hesitation by some to take bub's on trains and spending the entire day chasing after toddlers in strange places!
My thought is ... maybe we could arrange for the Illawarra Mum's to meet up one day some time in the new year ... maybe a day trip to Kiama?
A trip on the train (or by car, it isn't too far), a play at the park, Mum's wander around the shops dragging kids and then another play in the park together by the seaside. There is an indoor play centre that we could go to if it is wet.
On the other hand, I am open to any suggestions for a meeting place in the 'gong ... I am quite happy to get on the train with my kids and hoof it/take a bus to a pre-selected location.
Just some food for thought ... not much use organising anything now as Christmas is nearly on us and everyone is so incredibly busy!
