Interesting first post moses:detective:
Fight club is one of my fav movies...I must have watched it at least 20 times - I just never grow sick of it......love the actors, the storyline....the clever way everything links up towards the end.
i love this movie too. DF ended up buying it for me for my bday.
i started watching all edward norton movies. love him :p
the first time i watched it, i wa blown out, such a strange 2 part movie, that i had to watch again straight away!

i thought the movie was great! although apparently the author of the original book - chuck palahniuk - hated it!! i must admit i've not read the book yet, but i should get my hands on it.
it was cast so well especially with edward norton's character!! he has that real apologetic look about him without being too wussy. and brad pitt always plays the best bad guys - look at him in 'kalifornia'!!
my favourite bit has to be when edward norton realises that he IS tyler durden and 'flashes back' through the scenes of the film with just himself as the player.
i also loved 'natural born killers' - the soundtrack is the BEST (and i love juliette lewis!). it's all sort of in the same vein as 'american psycho' as well... another great (if somewhat disturbing) film!

Hi Fight club is one of my favourite movies too- I have also read the book- its really good, its a thin one but it has a lot more stuff in it than the movie. Edward Norton's character puts all these little satirical haiku's in it which are quite funny. And Chuck Palahnuik has also written another book called "Choke" which is really good as well- it's about a sex addict that goes to a sex addicts anonymous to pick up! You should read it is really good!

Moses - tha't sjust my stupid sense of "humour", you know "oh my god betty look at her butt it is so big" that old song...
I guess my favourite part is when Fight Club really gets off the ground, when the Narrator starts really getting more confident in himself and has more "hutzpah" :p It is like Narrator and Tyler are melding into one, and when I watched it the second time (ie after I knew the secret!) that part actually got me a bit teary, I was almost proud of the Narrator finally getting into himself.
Mamaduke... Natural Born Killers is my absolute favourite movie too... Lookee there, we have something in common! The love story, the commentary on the MTV generation, the satirisation of the media... I love it. I'm a SK freak and I love the true story that it's loosely based on.
(I think I have to go have a little lie down now, here's me a proud paid-up member of the bleeding heart squad, having something in common with MD!!!)

I have read the book too but it is so much differences in between movie & book - u might get dissapointed in fact, reading it after watching the movie - particular as the book cant help u in imgaining the 'cigarret burn' as in the movie and also the flash of Pitt's image - thats my favourite too. DH and I would laugh when we caught it throught out the whole movie - and yes, we have watched morethan zillions......th times LOL:smiliedance: :smiliedance: We might end up be able to tell u how many times has he flashed thr !!
Thanks for all of your responses - Let's hope we will hear more !!! and would you please also share what is your favourite bit in the movie?
