any ideas????

My ds is turning the big ONE:eek: next saturday(10th feb) We are going to have a party for him with friends and family but i need some ideas. Im going to supply a bbq and nibblies. Im also going to set up the kiddies pool to have a splash around in :smiliedance: .There are about 10 kids coming,aged between 6mnths and 6years, but the majority of them are under two. What can i do to keep them all entertained? This is my first time ever holding a 1st bday party.

Any ideas?

At my DS' first birthday I to had a variety of childrens ages (eg. my nieces and nephews and friends children etc).

I played the usual party games with them such as pin the tail on eeyore (as I had a winnie the pooh themed party for him) and pass the parcel. Other than that, it was just fun for them all to play together in the backyard. One of the men started a mini cricket game with the older ones but any age could join in. The younger ones spent most of the time playing with balls, on the swings etc. Put some music on kids love dancing. For the adults I put together 12 photos of DS dating in months and told them to put them into order from month 1 to month 12. Gave them a prize too.
