We are hoping to go out for dinner, as we haven't been out to dinner (kid free), in quite a while - my friend will be staying with us for a few weeks so has offered to babysit so we can go out for valentines day.

im hoping to go out for dinner or somethng but not going to hold my breath lol. nothng romantic is planned this year. something about being big and pregnant and wanting to sleep all the time isnt really appealing to my dh at the moment.
IMO tho as Kim off kat and kim would say:
like Rachel Hunter - I'm a foxymoron

Valentines day for us isn't about pressies... Since having kids we normally do a romantic dinner at home - but this year I've been told to make no plans cause DF is planning something..
He is not really the romantic type - so who knows what his got planned..The only thing I know is that the boys will be staying at the inlaws place for the night...ummmm well as long as it's not a late night fishing trip I'll be happy :p

LOL Mel... i hope you have a great night, even if it is fishing,
Well, if its anything like years gone by I will cook a yummy special dinner and DP will come home and say 'oh yum whats all this for?' and I will say "its valentines day" and he will say "oh, happy valentines day babe" and I will say "happy valentines day" and we might kiss each other a liddle kiss.
That's about it. Happy with it.Valentine
DH surprises me with flowers and gifts throughout the year. So to us Valentine Day is just another day. Every evening, dinner is by candlelight and really nice. I prefer surprises to expecting something on a certain day.:)

we don't do anything different, just another day to us. We have 365 days a year to show our love towards each other, so we have Valentines day every day....KWIM?
We were suppose to be going to the cricket but it has been suspiciously called off. I think my hub has something planned. Which would b weird coz valentines is just another day really. We play lovey dovey everyday of the week:o
We never do anything, but we might this year lots of special things happening to us this year so might as well get into the swing of things lol
We don't really do anything here,it's just another day.
Probably a card and a nice dinner.
I got a voice message today and I don't know whether to tell the A.H. or not.
Problem bein the bloke doesn't IDENTIFY himself. Just says "it's me" and I don't recognise the voice.
Now for those of you who have read my journal (or know ME) you will understand the dilema. He would probably recognise the voice, and I wouldn't put it past him to have had one of his mates call just to see if I would tell him ..... argggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Have I mentioned before I HATE HATE HATE valentines.
