Hi, Which spelling to you prefer...Zach or Zac?
I don't want to have to correct people with the spelling so I would prefer the most common version.
Which one do you think is the most common?
Thanks

Is it just Zach/Zac or is it short for Zachary? If it's short for Zachary I'd go with Zach or if it stands alone go for Zac, either way people are prob going to ask you how it's spelt?

I really like Zach, and I usually assume that the spelling is Zach over Zac. Its a great name as well.

I like Zac.
My cousin's name is Zak. His parents spelt it like that because that is also his initials (his middle name is Aaron and his surname starts with a K)!!

Just a thought from an Early Childhood Teacher...it will possibly be easier for the child when he learns how to spell if the name is spelt Zac because then you don't have to explain about the silent "h". Kids go from memory to start with, but I have seen kids with silent letters change the spelling of their own name to something that makes sense to them when they get past the memory stage of writing. It's only a temporary stage that some go through but it might be worth considering. Spelling doesn't matter in the long run to the child though.
