Kelp powder and astragalus in pregnancy

Hi All,

I just wondered if anyone knows whether kelp powder tabs and astragalus root (in the form of astraforte tabs) are a problem in pregnancy:confused: ? I use them for dermatitis and they work wonders but don't see my doc for a few weeks yet and my skin is getting much much worse with pregnancy and no supplements.

Check with your pharmicist. I always include kelp in my diet even when preggers coz its good for metabolic rate. I used Blackmores I-Folic (it included iodine/kelp and folic).

There is a blackmores hotline that the pharmicist can ring to put u onto the right one. I usually find them pretty happy. Just make sure u r taking the recommended amount for when preggers.
