Hi there,
My name is Bec and I was wondering if there are any young women out there that have suffered a miscarriage and know of any meeting groups?
I was having a great pregnancy up until the 12 week mark when I was told that my baby had too much fluid behind his neck and I had to have a CVS. When we got the results back saying that he was a healthy boy and that I needed to go back in 3 weeks time to have another scan to make sure his growth was fine. Well went I had the scan I knew he had gone!! He had passed away at 14 weeks and I had no bleeding or anything. When I had the D&C (4weeks ago) I was told that the sac kept reproducing and that it was a freak of nature and that if I was to fall pregnant again it wouldn't happen again cause it wasn't heredrity or genetic! This was my first pregnancy and my partner and I were so excited and now he has gone and I feel a little empty.
I was just seeing if there is anyone out there that knows of some meeting groups in the Gold Coast area or anyone that wants another friend to talk to? My friends aren't really being that great so I feel a little lonely!!!
