:D Hi Ladies,
I have just started to bottle feed my bub, still ebm but I am wondering what amounts I should be expressing her for each feed? She is nearly 4 months old.. Would I use the same amount guide as is given on the formula cans?
Also, I am buying bottles for her but want to get bottles that can last her all the way through, so I am wondering at say 18months, what mls would she be taking at each feed??
Thankyou for all your help!"!:D

Not sure about EBM as I've FF and used the guides on the can (they're only guides too remember :D).

Buuuuuuuttttt ...... I am using the same Avent bottles for my 8.5 month old DS that I used with my 6 year old daughter :D ... and he has had 4x 200 ml bottles daily since around 3-4 months.

ETA - once they are drinking cows milk (generally around 12 months old), they recommend an intake of 600ml daily, but once again I'm not sure how that would compare with BF/EBM babies

I think you give up to 250ml at bubs biggest feeding age - (5-6 months, I think!) and I'm pretty sure all standard bottles will go up to that amount, unless you get the mini bottles. Do you have lot's of breast milk? If I was you, I'd express as much as I could, just to keep my supply up, then make up a couple of 100ml bottles... if she only has one, then you can start freezing what she doesn't have KWIM?

I have the avent 260mL bottles.. I think that'll be all he needs through and through - remembering at 18 months she'll be drinking other things than milk and probably from a cup :)
