UK Chocolate in Brisbane

Hi

Somebody was telling me that Sids Pies on the Pacific Motorway sells UK chocolate!!! Anyone know if this is true?? My husband works in Springwood but we live in Chapel Hill so a bit far to go and check it out. It's on the corner of Leawarra Drive just north of the the Logan Motorway turn off.

Not sure about Sids Pies but there is a shop in the city (in the Wintergarden shopping centre) called Death By Chocolate or Chocolate Heaven (something like that) that sells UK chocolate and crisps. It is quite expensive though so depends how desperate you are. There is also a shop in Caloundra on the main street that sells a lot of Pommie food..my favourite being Caramac Bars

Syd's pies does sell british chocolate is junction 31 of Pacific Highway. Can't remember exactly what they had but I got Minstrels had a few things. We were there buying haggis as DH is Scottish and we had a belated Burns Night which was such a good night. There is a place downstairs in the Myer centre beside the food court on the way to Terry White chemist has Thorntons and other chocolate but bit pricey. Was cheaper to buy Thorntons fudge from Myer last year for DH's birthday.

I am in Redcliffe and we have a shop called Teddies and Sweets in Redcliffe. They have so much yummy stuff like Fry's bars, Yorkies and a whole heap of boiled lollies. Also there is a shop in the Myer Centre in Brisbane called Chocolate Boulevard, they stock a lot too. Sad thing is I am a Kiwi so go there to buy my kiwi lollies but your UK stuff is so yummy I am now addicted.:laughing:

I just had another thought about where you can get UK choccies. Have you tried the Confectionery Warehouse out near the Brisbane airport?

There is a new shop at Holland park called mostly British For more information call 3397 1188
Mostly British has the lot when it comes to all things British, like HP sauce, mushy peas, marmalade, PG Tips Tea, loads of sweets and memorabilia like flags and football merchandise.
It was on chanel 9 Extra last week.

Chermside shopping centre has a lolly shop that sells UK and USA stuff too.:thumbsup:
