Help!! Implantation bleed - can it be bright red?

Hi guys

I think i ovulated 10 days ago and when i was testing my CM with my finger, i saw a speck of bright red blood on my finger (soory TMI)

i sometimes get this as a warning that AF is on its way, and i am cramping, but i was hoping it could also be implantation bleed..

am i clutching to straws, or has anyone else had bright red implantation bleed v's brown

i tested on HPT and got neg :(

With DD1 i had an implantation bleed, it was right when my period was due as well. I had a day of average red period bleeding and that night very little, next day went brown and stopped.
We were trying to conceive so when it stopped i waited a couple of days and tested and i was pregnant.

Thanks for info... sounds good, but mine is only a speck, so i hope it turns out similar to your situation.. anyone else had just the smallest amount of bright red blood???
