the dirty hoe got booted off!! Laura K, the stripper. YAY i never liked her.
They had to do public speaking, and she spoke about her battle with depression, and about being a stripper (of course - does she ever talk about anything else??)
Before that, they had an afternoon out with the beau's, and Laura and Abbey got a bit drunk, had a confronation, because Abbey pashed Harry, but Laura was all "he pashed you after he'd already pashed me" and then Abbey had a go at Laura, and Laura started crying (oh boo hoo...). Then Laura won the challenge (which was to write a poem) and her prize was a trip to London, and dinner with the beau's. She chose Wendy to go with her - she said it was because Paul burrell said Wendy's was the second best poem, but come on..... it's because Wendy is the least threatening when it comes to the boys!!!
oh god i'm so tragic, how do i know so much about this show...... :p
Next week is the final (but there's 3 girls left, so i don't know how they'll do that....)
I think I must have missed the beginning episode of Aust Princess cause I am a little confused as to what the winner gets.
is it to marry a prince
the title of being a reality TV Aust princess
a date with a prince
I am very confused.
thanks for that...
WHo do u think will win?

yeah and remember what Wendy said in the first episode, about the custom-made tiara: "I could trade that in for a really great ute" HAHAHAHA
I hope Wendy wins. She may not be the most beautiful, but she's definately the most gracious, the most poised, the most honest, the most decent, etc etc.

I agree - I want Wendy to win too! SHe seems the most genuine out the 3 that are left and not afraid to be herself at the same time of allowing change.
Yeah......go Wendy! She'd look tops zipping around on her 4 wheeler on the farm with her tiara on! She might accidentally blind the cows though with all that shimmering.

I don't think it should be called Australian Princess - I think it should be Australian Maid. I mean really would a princess in real life be scrubbing boots or shining silver?!!?
I like Paul but come on who does he think he is - he is only a butler for gods sake. And don't get me started on Jane Ferguson.
Go Wendy or Ally - I detest Abby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go Wendy. I think she is so lovely! And i know they keep harping on her weight, but the girl has lost alot, and she's the one who is the most *real*.
I like Abby, I think she has had it pretty tuff, but I really cant see her being a princess, and shes a bit to hard around the edges!
i like abbey to.... i think she might win
as for wendy i really like her too but i dont think she will get there in the end she might though i really dont know hey :D i cant wait till next weeks show

I didnt mind LauraK in small doses, but geez, did she have to mention stripping every time she opened her mouth?.

Good on Princess Alley.
Wendy was just as happy for Alley - Great to see but bit suprised - thought she had it in the bag.
Where was Jane Ferguson? That was shortlived - didn't like her anyway.
And what about Paul - cried when Alley won.
It all seemed so quick compared to australian idol....... boy was that dragged out!
Good onya Ally. Good onya Wendy too for having a good attitude.
Wasn't the prince a bit of a letdown? Nice castle though :D

Oh, the prince - er...is it just me or does he sound like "Dr. Evil" from the Austin Powers movies?
Thank sweet baby Jesus, Abby got sent home I disliked that girl a lot!
I wanted wendy to win, but wasn't fussed when Ally won Good choice I say :D

I only watched a few eps, but still wanted know who won....Ally is the surfer chick isn't she? Good on her! I wouldn't have minded any of the last three to win...I'm just glad that Melissa (was that her name) went home. The one who reckons she's really a polish duchess or something...i HATED her!
i wasnt expecting ally to win at all i thought wendy would but good on them...
I was happy that Ally won but imagen having to ride of into the sunset with that pathetic excuse for a Prince!!! What exactly is he the Prince of anyway?I think that's the real reason Wendy was so happy that she didn't win!

Wow Tanuch why dont you tell us what you really think
I really liked Zena "the fat chick" as you put it and I think she had a very good chance at winning. The Prince didnt choose the girls "For a date" the judges chose the winner based on their abilties. They did a great job our aussie girls, so what if they were a little rough around the edges, thats called Aussie Spirit :D
:D GO Aussies GO :D
Well I watched the whole series and loved it. It wasn't mentally challenging or thrilling drama, just a bunch of good old aussie girls who were selected because they were just that - the girl next door types.
I learned quite a few things from it:
- princesses don't cross their legs when sitting.
- serving tea ettiquette
- don't wear high heeled boots to a polo game
and much more about what is required of a princess.
I thought it was quite heartwarming and would watch it again if there was a new series. I liked Jackie O, I've enjoyed her on radio for ages so it was good to see her on telly.
Yes, its fun to bag aspects of the show but overall I thought it was a good watch.

It's only a crappy, poorl excuse for a reality show.
Yet you still obviously watched some of it didn't you TanUch???
I thought if anything, it was a good, fun show that showed what our typical Aussie 'Girl's Next Door' can do when given the chance...and if something comes out of it for one of them, then good for them!
With all the hospital and crime shows on TV nowadays (not that there's anything wrong with them, i watch them too), its nice to have a refreshing show like Aussie Princess to break the monotony for a few weeks.
It must be difficult being a princess and having to speak nicely to all sorts of people all the times - even ones they don't like or agree with.
I guess that's why princesses are such very special people. :D

Oh, I know *looks down at perfectly manicured nails*, (sigh) my life is soooo hard, I am soooo glad someone appreciates it *adjusts tiara*.
Now, where's my bloody cuppa tea, and don't put the milk in first, you numbskull!!

And if the teaspoon is on the outside of the fork there will be trouble!

Yes, we shall set the corgies onto thee!
Oh surely thou wouldnstststst... darn plum in mouth makes it frightfully difficult to speak properly sometimes.
Nickster
25-11-2005, 05:35
No, no, you're right, setting the corgies onto the servants would be far too harsh - for the corgies! Off with their heads! MILK IN LAST!!!
Yes, poor corgis. Let them run freely around the grounds while I sip my pimms.

To Orlando's Mum and Shannon's Mum, I never referred to her as a 'fat chick', get your facts right.
TanUch - reffering to the above line in your previous post...i would just like to say if you were reffering to me by any chance, i didn't say anything about you calling Zena a 'fat chick'... so if it WAS me you were reffering to, then you might wanna read the posts properly and 'get your facts right'! If it wasn't me, then i am apologise for this post.... :o
I would like to say that Zena WAS A FAT CHICK!! Lets not sugar coat it ladies. Did anyone see her mounting that horse in those white pants??? Geez Louise - lucky I wasnt eating my dinner at the time! As for the horse, I think he's spending the rest of his life in horsey chiropractic!
Just having a light hearted chat and joke about the series. Nothing private about it.
At last, Carls, someone who's not afraid to speak the truth like u, and not pay lip service to political correctness all the time.
I think your the one taking things too seriously Tanuch touchey touchey LOL
Im intitled to have my say just like every one else and if Im offended by the term "Fat chick" which I am, then tough.
I dont refer to it as being politically correct I refer to it as being respectful of people regardless of their size!
hmmm enough said :)

[ And to Wattle and Nickster, were u trying to be sarcastic to me, or was it a private joke between u 2?
Tanuch,
I really think you need to relax and stop being so defensive. I was merely responding humorously to Wattle's post - we do that sometimes around here. Check other threads and you will see it happening there too. It's called having a sense of humour. Remember to log yours in. :)
Have I written any serious posts? Hmmmm.....
Just in case anyone is confused - I AM NOT A SERIOUS PERSON. I LIKE A JOKE. Yes, there are times when jokes are not appropriate, but I don't think Australian Princess deserves too much seriousness.
All in good fun.
I cant say these girls deserve our criticism, but hey - if you're going to thrust yourself into the public eye via a reality tv program, then people are going to pick you to pieces. Its an unfortunate reality.

EWES he he that's funny :D
Well I'd would of just known how to do it all, as I am actually a princess.:p

I'm sure you are, DM! :)
But there's no way I'd fight you for "the Prince" - you can have him! You win!!!
Yes ..... nasty prince..... we were all expecting so much more :( .
Thanks O's mum re avatar :D
To Carls, hi TanUch here. What did u mean my personal computer? Did I use the abbreviation PC? I'm confused! Anyway, I loved your last comment. You seem think like me, you speak truthfully and I guess two great minds think alike.
Thought that might confuse you! I kind of meant the only 'PC' I know (not that you used the abbreviation) is Personal Computer :D
