does reflux end?
my ds2 has it and i want to know when it normally goes away

Not sure when it normally goes away, but Brooke was 10mths old.

i know it would be different 4 each bub i just want to know there is light at the end of the tunnel IYKWIM:laughing:
ds2 is 3 months now and the vomiting is slowly down but his reflux seems to be going silent

Totally get you there!! I was so over it all by the time she was 5mths old, lol.
With all 4 of my babies..I found the 3 month mark to be the peak and from then it gets better :thumbsup:

:thumbsup: my ds2's reflux is becoming more silent then spewy is there anything the dr can do:confused:
he has his naps during the day inhis bouncer coz that angle seems to help him.
last night i enjoyed a cold hungry jacks meal:laughing: i spent 2 hours trying to settle ds2 and get him to sleep only for him to poo and then settle himself:banghead: lol

:yes: yep i was looking at it last night its what made me think ds1 has a touch of reflux:rolleyes: :confused:
DD was 11 mths and DS stopped vomiting at almost 14mths but he still silent refluxes from time to time and he turned 2 in October
It really just depends some kids will never grow out of it

aparently the magic age is 2 year we was told 3 months then 6 months then 9 monthas then one year, but then i know of 7 year old refluxers
i dont think there is a magic age every child is diferent is your child on meds for the reflux what tesdts have been done do you know the severity of it

ds2 isnt on any meds our GP is very relucatant to put him on meds coz he is stacking on weight already quite well.she suspects he may be getting over the reflux but just filling his belly before he can digest the previous feed so he ends up vomiting up some:laughing:
my ds1 is 21 months we are going to get him checked out for reflux, as a newborn he was a massive projectile vomiter but we were told it was coz of his feeding problems (he had a tube at one stage)but now he gags ocasioanly,spews,shoves his fingers down his throat and stuff like he wants to vomit or is choking but nothing comes out
