I would like to hear from those who have a tandem pram (preferably a Baby Love Tandem Lite or Valco Double Take Tandem)

Can you tell me what you like/love or hate about it?
I only have a little boot (Carolla Hatch) so am limited for space. Are they any good for walking out in the streets or more designed for shopping centres?

My DD will be 16 months old when the next one is born so I presume she will be wanting to be in a pram for at least another 12 months??? (could be wishful thinking)

I actually don't have either of those prams but do have a Phil and Ted E3 and love it. Have you considered one of those prams?

Very lightweight
Easy to mavouvre
Fits through supermarket aisles easily
Cute colours
Fits into small cars

The Phil and Ted is suitable for both shopping centres and walking/jogging with!

I can't remember what ours is.. I think it's love'n'care of Baby love or something.. It has love in it anyway.

It looks comfy... it's easy to manouvre.. but that's about it.

I find it heavy. It takes up the whole boot space (not good when you're buying 2 boxes of nappies) and sometimes it won't fit through doors... even though it SAYS it's supposed to fit through a standard dooway.. yeah it does... but not when the doors in the way.... you always have to use the wheelchair access isles and doors..

But hey, the boys like it, and we use it everywhere. it does run pretty smoothly.

The Phil & Teds one is one I have considered, but the more I see them with two kiddies in them the more I am turned off to be honest.
Both DH & I are not too keen on how close to the ground the one at the back sits and the fact they cant see except by looking out the side.
Hense the reason for looking more at a tandem.
