Hair colouring

Maybe a silly question?????


Is it ok to colour my hair while breastfeeding?
I avoided it while pregnant, just to be safe, but I would like to do an at home colour today.

Opinions? :confused:

The chemicals have been said to go thru the bloodstream or something. I was told its safer to use hair dye without the ammonia in it.

I don't think its really any big deal. The meat we eat with injected hormones is worse for us.

coming from a hairdressers point of view... i think its fine i did it if you r a little worried just do a semi permanent.. :)

I've done it while breastfeeding, I don't think it's that much of a big deal. Have fun & go do your hair :D

It doesn't go into your blood stream. The main issue with hair dye when you are pregnant is the fumes. As long you are in a well ventilated room, there is no issue.
