I'm no sewer (although some you guys make me wish I was!) but have been doing some research and keeping an eye on the threads for my SIL who wants to make her own MCN.

She's not liking the charge for the smaller nappy cuts of PUL and is wondering if she can buy it by the meter instead. She uses terry flats but is wanting to build up a stash of pul pockets as well.

I've looked but I don't see anywhere she buy PUL in bigger peices like that.

Anyone know of any places? Or have other tips that I can pass on to her?

Much appreciated!

When I was looking into it a few months back, I found it in the states...can't remember where though but I'd be tempted to get some from NZ if they do it!!

greanbeans and the postage isn't too bad. Diapercuts in the USA, but shipping will cost a bit. I'm sure most of the stores probably would, not sure if she would get a discount, but she could ask

greenbeans sells by nappy cut, half metre, or by the metre.
the half metre is $9 and full metre is $15.30

but the half metre and full metre are 150cm wide!
out of a half metre i usually get 4-6 medium nappies, depending on the pattern.
so it works out to be $1.50-$2.50 per nappy for pul

plus postage, but its not too bad. even with postage i'd say each nappy (just the pul) would cost maybe $2.50-$4.00
