How do I label lead and coloured pencils.....aaarggghh :banghead:

With a potato peeler, scrape off a bit of the painted wood bit, then write their name with pen/texta on the scraped bit.

Although it is probably too late now but the label companies sell labels specially designed for pencils. I also buy sticker labels smaller rectangular ones that stick to plastic crayons etc and you can write your child's name on them and they work well
