Hey Girls,
What did you think of headland???
I like the plot to it, but i was a bit dissapointed with the quality and the acting! Obviously Libby Tanner and the others from All Saints are great, but some of the others im a bit unsure about. I am looking forward to thursdays episode though!!!

I watched about 10 minutes of it and had to turn it over - I thought it was APPALLING! The acting was shocking. Can't say much about the plotline since I only saw 10 minutes or so.

The acting was definately appalling! I definately was expecting much better, especially beacuse there was such a build up to it!!! Quite dissapointed!

I have to agree, have just turned it off in disapointment (running on WA time!) I really wanted to support some Aussie drama but sadly not this time!

I too was disappointed- i was really looking forward to it as the buildup was really good but i had to walk out after15mins as i was cringing at the acting!!!!

I watched the first half hour of it, and then went and did other things...i thought Libby Tanner was alright (but not quite as good as her other roles), but the others were shockers!....I guess with a new show it takes a bit to get into sometimes, so i'll probably watch it on Thursday and make up my mind....Pity though, they made it sound so good......

I did extra work on this show which was fun but you know low budget aussie drama!, and it failed audience testing and they fired 2 script writers and started again, I read that on the net somewhere lol

I missed it last night was shopping, but I am going to watch it on thursday.. To be honest I don't think it's going to last!

Absolute ****e. I watched about 5 minutes out of curiousity and foolishly believing it would be in the calibre of other top-knotch Australian productions. Ha! Rubbish acting, rubbish sets, rubbish scripts, rubbish direction. I won't be tuning in again. Can't believe Libby Tanner is involved in it. Can't believe somebody/some production company actually invested money in making it.

There now, I've had my vent, time for a cuppa. :)

I too was very dissapointed :-( i actually turned it off after about 10 minutes. Even the opening scene with the car crash was really badly done, looked totally unrealistic and cheap! The acting was so wooden and not at all credible! i dont think I will be watching it again!

Yeah the acting was a bit poor but I thought the story line was good. I will be watching on Thursday, I need to find out what the secret is that blond chic is hideing.

I forgot it was going to be on but when i turned telly on and saw it i thought it was crap, the camera work is something you would expect in the 80's. I don't think it will stay on for long. Really poor quality.

Don't know if you channel 7 viewers have a repeat but for those of us with PRIME we have a repeat of Tue nights show!? What happened to my afternoon comedy???

Oh well at least Bear in the Big Blue House is on :D

I agree with BRIDE83, it looked like an 80s show with the way the sets were etc.
and I agree that the opening crash scene was tragically done, like a highschool project.

I got kinda intrigued with the storyline though. I think that Conrad Colby and his mates wife looked like they were going to get together!!

Maybe I'll watch it again to see what it turns out like.

Haha Bubblebelly, I think Id rather watch ANYTHING than "The Bear in the Big Blue House"!!

I thought it was crap too. I think if the acting was a bit better it might have been a good one. I reckon it will get axed. If Last Man Standing got axed then that will definately get the chop. The only good thing about it was the tall blonde bloke who rode the motorbike lol. :p

I was wondering where last man standing went!!!:(

I enjoyed that show- thought it was fairly well done- good research into the life of singles (he he he) if only we all had the time to be at the pub every day!!!!

I also used to really enjoy cold feet- anyone else watch that????

cute picture...No I didn't watch cold feet. And yes LMS was funny and good acting too I thought. Couldnt figure out why it got axed.
I didnt watch the second episode of Headland... was it better than the first? I dont think I could sit through that mundane-ness (sp) again so thats it for me I think. Unless of course the storyline gets me..Although in writing that, nup. The acting is just blah...infact, i am going to write to someone and complain.! lol :p

Cold feet was fantastic - ended on such a cliffhanger. I've sort of forgotten how it did finish, just know I was left with lots of questions!

I did a bit of toing and froing from BH to TV last night for episode two and decided that it had gotten a bit worse with the acting. I'll still give it another couple of chances, as there's been a couple of other series that have started out crap but moved on to be pretty good - just didn't start with a bang like LMS - LOL. ;)

I was really looking forward to this show and within the first 20 minutes I turned around to hubby and said this show is pretty crap and very poor acting. I did watch in Thursday aswell, but it would not upsett me if I missed an episode.

I don't think this show will last very long at all.........

I'm all for good quality Aussie drama - but this aint it!! Back to the drawing board.

Come on!! Is the only Aussie show worth watching going to be All Saints for ever???

And, what ever happened to sitcoms for a laugh - do they all have to be American?
