Loosing hair?????????????????

Hi, While I was preg I didn't notice any hair loss ... now DS is 6 months old and for months I have been loosing soooo much hair :( .

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm getting a tad worried - it seems to be everywhere at the moment - my hair is quite thick so I'm not thinking that I'll go bald anytime soon ... but just thought I'd see if this is the norm or should I go see a Doc??

Its totally normal, has to do with the pregnancy hormones, it should stop soon as they say from when bubs is 3 months to about 6 months.

Totally normal....don't panic though, you don't go bald or anywhere close to it.

i have this problem as well... really bad and the reason is..
you loose 100 strands of hair on average per day.. now when ur pregnant you body goes all haywire as you would know and you stop loosing hair thats y most ppl say that while ur pregnant youll have thick glossy hair because you loose less than half than normal.. nwo a few months after pregnancy your hormones ajust themselfs and all the extra hair you didnt loose during that 9-10mths you loose a few months after and along with that your normal 100 strands per day... nothing to stress about as this will cause you to loose more hair but if your quite worried still just go to ur gp and get a nblood test for iron etc.

It's normal....I'm losing heaps of hair at the moment and my son is 4 months old. I remember it also happened for about six months after I had my daughter. It won't all fall out I promise :)

Yep my ds is nearly 4 months and its happening to me too. It's only because my SIL (whos dd is 6 months) asked the doctor about it that I knew it was normal!

DS is just starting to crawl and I am constantly pulling my hair from between his toes and fingers - will be glad when it stops ... plus our bathroom is white, white, white so my dark locks stand out!

His 6 months so hopefully it starts to ease soon!

I am the same, I have really thick black hair and its everywhere! Sometimes I find it in Natalias fingers, on her cot, on the floor....hate it!!!!!!!

Oooooooh ME TOO!

I hate it! Im actually a little worried as it is an awfully large amount of hair coming out and my hair is not all that thick to begin with.:(

Im having the same problem. Every day i'm horrified at the amount of hair left in my comb. :eek:

My hair is waist length, so as you can imagine it causes lots of problems, lmao. The amount of hair I find on clothes when hanging up the washing is unbelievable. I don't know how it gets into the washing machine though.:detective:
