When do they go back to school ?

Okay so i'm not too sure when and what date Dion goes back to school. I haven't received a thing to tell me when. I checked the last school newsletter we got last year (yes i still have it :rolleyes: ) and it says not a thing about start of term for this year! HMPH! I've rang other parents whom their child was in Dion's class last year and they don't know either. I've also tried calling the school in hopes that someone might just be in the office because i know teachers go back earlier to sort things out and yep you guessed it.. No answer! :( Do they not want the kids to go back to school this year ?

So does anyone know when they do go back ? I know it's different for every school but i might be able to get a rough idea. I was thinking maybe Monday the 29th or something.. Help, someone.. PLEASE! :D

My DD's school newsletter says the term starts Tuesday 30th. But her first day is Thursday 1st Feb.

Hopefully the teachers will be there Monday at your school and you can find out then.

Hi Lauren,
I have had the same issue this week. Although I received an email today telling me all the relevant details. So my children go back on Monday but their school is an independent school, so I checked with my SIL and her son goes back on Tues at State school. Hope that helps-otherwise I'm sure there would be someone in the office this week, maybe you could call them.
PS-Are you coming to the meet tomorrow?

Sal (FC) I only just saw the melb meet thread the other day :o pity i didn't see it earlier because i had already organised lunch with a friend. Bugger it! I may consider coming next time in the hopes that it'll be at the 'train park'.
