i dont know if this is where it should go but anyway...
i was just wondering whether you have a jolly jumper for your bub... and how often you use it!
Coby got his as a gift around 4 months we started using it and he loves it...
although i got ot warn... it may sound stupid but... we put it on the clothesline like u can but didnt overlock the clip and bub jumped and it all came crashing down  luckily the bar didnt knock him on the head! so just be careful!!
we use it a few times a week when he is grumpy i put him on it and he loves it!! wonderful invention!

We got one when DS was about 4 months old and he used to love it too bits!!! Now that his crawling though, he feels really constricted in it and just isn't interested any more and would rather 'explore' the house!

My DS loves his Jolly Jumper, we now only use it occasionaly, when he has heaps of energy and it is getting towards bedtime we put him in their to tire him out.

My kids both loved the jolly jumper as babies. We'd use it nearly every day, and I just loved watching them jump in it, something about that action and the shape of their little legs was toooo cute!

On a sad note though, my DD cut it up one day and I need a new one for the next bub now :(

The Jolly Jumper would have to be one of the best inventions! I had my DS 1 in it from 4 months - 7 months, nearly every day! I really think it helped with his development, he was walking with the help of furniture at 8 months. As soon as my DS 2 hits 4 months the Jolly Jumper is coming out!

I got one as DD is slightly over excitable and thinks she can walk at 4mths!! (ok slight exaduration(sp??) but loves being held up right on her feet!!!)

So we use it for about 30-60 mins a day!!!!

I have mine hanging from the pergola- and she talks to the cat and the magpies while she plays!!!!!

I loveeeeeeeee the person who invented the JJ!!!

Just a question about jolly jumpers.. can you hang them inside the house anywhere, like from a doorway or something?? DS is 8 months he'll be 9 months at Xmas but we wanted to get him one because although he is crawling and pulling himself up on furniture he loves to bounce! Just that I don't have an area outdoors where I can put it, and I rent so I can't do any damage to the walls putting it up or anything

You certainly can put them in doorways! I used to hang ours in whichever doorway was closest to where i was, like bathroom, kitchen etc.

I'd just be careful about buying one now - Andrew is 9 months and crawling now and HATES the JJ even though he used to absolutely LOVE it. He can't bear not being able to leave the doorway! Even bouncing is no fun anymore, he needs to be on the move...

We got a good 6 months use out of it though, but now its put away for the next bub.

Hello

Emily LOVES her JJ and she also likes to swing in it!? Only very gently of course but she laughs her little head off! So funny.

Cheyenne loved her Jolly Jumper. We had her in it from about 5 months up until she was almost 10 months as she didnt start crawling until then. Plus she started swinging herself from side to side way too much and i could of just seen her head going into the side of the door frame :)
But we had her in there once a day, up to 60 minutes, she didnt like getting out before she was ready.
I used to hang it mainly in the loungeroom/diningroom doorway cos even if i was in the kitchen or checking emails i was right near her.

We used the JJ all the time with our first son Jesse. We wanted to use it again with our second son Lucas but Jesse decided that Lucas would like to be pushed back and forth so we ended up putting it away! Bit of a shame because I got alot done when the JJ was in use!

I put DS in a friends Jolly Jumper and he loved it.. He's only 9 weeks old but seems to love being upright and able to look around and stretch his legs..

When i was asked for ideas for DS for Christmas that was the first thing i put my hand up for... lookijng forward to being able to get things done :)

Even sick with chicken pox, Tayla looks at her JJ stand and bounces on her spotty bottom!

Great entertainment!
